The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, and the hostel is nestled in a space full of beautiful plants and trees. The rooms are quite basic and the beds fine but a bit of a disappointment after staying in Churup's cozy beds in Huaraz. Generally,...More

Loved the courtyard and the location. We had a room right on the street and it was very noisy, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. It was a great value.

El Patio is a wonderful little escape from the hustle and bustle of Lima. It has excellent security, a lovely courtyard. and a mazelike labyrinth of stairs and hallways filled with turn of the century paintings and photos. The room was comfortable with TV, big...More

We recommend the blue Bus, N° 301, which you can take 2 blocks away from El Patio, the fare is 1.50 soles (one Sol fifty, local currency), and it comes aprox every 7 minutes. The ride to downtown is like 35 minutes roughly.
