Second Home Peru was incredible. We had arranged with them beforehand to have a taxi pick us up from the airport - apparently they work with the same 2 or 3 taxi drivers, who know the home and the area well. Once we arrived at the home, we were greeted by a woman (not Lillian, Victor Delfin's daughter), who showed...

My husband & i stayed at Second Home towards the end of September 15 & i know that this review is probably redundant but i still feel i should give back to the community that’s helped me so much in my travel planning & research. I planned Lima for 3 nights at the end of our month long South American...

This is the life. Watch a famous artist paint and sculpt to the sights and sounds on the cliffs above the Pacific Ocean waves. Fabulous digs with eclectic setting and accommodations. Great breakfast each morning if you like eggs. One of a kind place run by the family.

This is a simple but exciting place to stay. If you like art, you'll love this hotel. Don't expect a restaurant bit there are several within 5 minutes walk. Don't expect room service but the staff are friendly. What you can expect is a great breakfast (though not a buffet choice). You can expect a great view if you ask...

This amazing B&B is situated in the coolest and most beautiful neighbourhood of Lima. I have no idea why people tell you to go to charmless Miraflores, when you have quirky, artsy and architecturally interesting and beautiful Barranco. If you only have a few hours to spend in Lima, this is where you should spend it. If you only have...

This place is a gem. It is the home and work place of Victor Delfin, a well known artist, that sits at the edge of a long over look in Barranco that looks out over the Pacific. It is run by Victor's daughter, Lillian, a delightful host who led us around the grounds and work places and instroduced us to...

Six friends from Australia stayed here for three nights at the start of a four week Sth American trip. The setting, location, service and accommodation are superb. The art work and detail gorgeous. Breakfast delicious. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs, there is a surprising amount of noise from the road at night. Definitely recommend (but I did...

This beautiful and unique hotel was the perfect start to our South America adventure. It has such amazing artworks on display and we felt so lucky to meet the artist himself, the legendary Victor Delfin. Before booking, I had been considering the nearby suburb of Mirraflores but I'm so glad I chose this hotel in Barranco. Tucked down a safe...

A place where you need to stay. Just wonderful old English house. We are a room with garden view as well as ocean view. The ocean view is spectacular on top of the cliff but a lot of noise from the road. We prefer the garden room. Service Is very nice and breakfast delicious. Near great restaurants and romantic places.

Look at the photos and read the reviews and decide whether this is the place for you. We thought it was perfect -- loved the art, being out of the way in a quieter place, in a very interesting neighborhood. If you do not speak Spanish it may be a bit more difficult to get around -- the taxi drivers...
