Quiet, well located and staff are both helpful and friendly. Simply furnished with own bathroom. Could do with a lick of paint and freshening up. Breakfast very basic but good enough and their are plenty of opportunities for eating out in the area.

The staff at Pukara is nice and helpful but they don't speak English. Although it's not downtown Miraflores the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Rooms and bathrooms are old which is fine BUT they are dirty and that's a no go! On the pro side the Internet is fast.

Hostal Pukaru offers a warm and inviting environment for travelers seeking to spend a few days in Lima while on a budget. The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the lodging is comfortable. I really appreciated the location - situated in the safe, attractive neighborhood of Miraflores, it offers convenient access to local restaurants, the ocean, and necessary...

I think this hostel would be okay if you got a room on the upper floors. I had room 101, which is right next to the patio and dining room. The wifi absolutely could not connect in the room although walking 10 feet out of the room into the patio I had no problem connecting. It was a slight inconvenience...

The location of Pukara is very convenient for those who want to go out late because Miraflores always has places to eat etc. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The wifi was surprisingly fast for a hostal (very rare in Lima). Now for the room... first and foremost, the bathroom was small and subpar (we used sandals in the...

We stayed here for 4 nights and were satisfied. We had originally booked a private room with shared bathroom but when we were taken up to the tinest room on the sweltering third floor with no working fan - we asked to be moved. Even into one of the other rooms on the third floor with working fans, but They...

This place for me is perfect, and that's because I only use it to sleep. There is hot water, the room is small but I don't really need much. It seems safe and the staff is more than friendly. They have been very helpful in every way they can. Is walking distance to a very nice park and grocery stores...

For such a great, cheap price, you couldn't do any better. You're not paying for a 5-star luxury resort here you are getting the experience and the budget. The staff is friendly and accommodating, more than willing to offer directional help etc. Great location within walking distance to grocery store and local markets and only a short cab ride away...
