This was my second time in Lima and my first time I stay in this establishment. To start with I like that the pictures on their website are actual, the Internet is fast and the workers serviceing and available, in particular the administrator of the hostel Nelly that took the time to invite me to a tasty lunch and advised... Yes the rooms do smell a little musky but its not overpowering like some I've frequented. The furniture is basic. I didn't bother unpacking for the two night duration. It's close to the Plaza for shopping and there are the regular fast food American restaurants. The price needs to be lower for the room.

I stayed here for more than a month and as a single traveller i found it safe, clean and easy to go everywhere in Lima. The lady at the reception is lovely and the rest of the staff are always happy to help. I was even invited for a delicious Peruvian lunch on my last day in Lima and I... More

I stayed Iquique for three nights. Even though I could speak English, I couldn't speak Spanish, so first time I worried about communication with stuffs. It wasn't easy to communicate with them, but some of them could speak English, and others also listened what I said carefully, even though they didn't understand English. So, for me this place was very... More

I stayed two nights. Breakfast included (rolls, butter, jam and 'coffee'). The prices were higher than my Lonely Planet 2013 book: $18/night for a single room without bathroom. It was noisy, but not horrible, one night someone was blasting music, but another person knocked on their door and they stopped. The room smelled quite musty, but you only notice it... More

Average, safe hostel in an okay location for Central Lima. (Taxis required to Miraflores). Rooms are small, slightly dark and can be noisy at night/early morning but with the all the necessary features, including TV and hot water. Helpful and friendly staff. Airport pickup was particularly expensive but room rates are negotiable.

My husband and I stayed at Iquique for our first two nights in Lima for $19 US per night for a matrimonial room with a private bath. On the plus side, the room was reasonably clean considering how cheap the place was. However, no one spoke any English and the cleanliness of the common areas was debatable (there were fingernail... This hostel is a great little gem of a find in Lima, particularly considering the $12 per night price. It is clean, with warm showers and reasonable sized rooms. The pride of ownership showers all through the property and there are lots of homey touches that make the stay pleasant. It is a few minutes walk from Plaza De Armas... More
