I was hosted twice here! Once with school for a humanitarian (2009) trip and another time with my mother (2012) to show her around peru! WOWOWOWOW Nancy I love you! It was great I sang and dances reggae with the girls while doing the dished. Location: Great location close to everything including the beach! There is a pizza hut right...

When I made my reservation the manager didn't tell me I was at Friends House 2... I arrived at Friends 1 at 4am and inconvenienced the staff who was having a nice sleep. At Friends 2 you can expect a very long, steep climb to some rooms (I can do it, I've got VERY strong legs, but it's a bit...

This is a very basic hostel/ Wifi is decent. Breakfast is bread, juice and tea. The bathroom on third floor had no hot water. Also, it was very cold while we were there and rooms were very damp. Roxanne was helpful and very nice. Overall, okay for travelling in groups. Neighborhood is excellent.

Pros: Great location, close to nice restaurants and mall with cinema Good customer service, helped with restaurant bookings Good wifi TV in room Reasonable price Good shower Cons: Bit grotty, the room felt very budget Tiny bathroom Noisy from other guests, which is not really their fault, but with our window right next to the communal area it was very...

Got the matrimonial room for 60 soles. Breakfast is included, but again, its just bread and butter with drinks. The place is safe, clean, very hot showers. Feels like a home, if you are in the living room. The room we had was below the stairs however, and you can hear the footsteps very well all the time. Also the...

Friends house has two locations, one on Marco copac and the other on Jose Gonzalez. I have always stayed in the latter, and find it to be a very welcoming and comfortable place. The family who owns the house is often downstairs having breakfast around the same time as the tourists, and it is great to chat with them to...

The hostal is conveniently located in the Miraflores neighbourhood of Lima. I really felt at home - when I came in from the bus terminal I thought I was at the wrong address. The owners are very friendly and it is overall very quiet (which is rare in Lima). The breakfast is good and filling, you can use the kitchen,...

I stayed here for over a week... it has a great location near everything and it´s very cheap. But the bathrooms are all digustingly dirty, to the point you realy don´t want to shower, because you are afraid that it will not serve the purpose of cleaning you, but making you dirtiert. Also it was very noisy all day and...

A good breakfast is included in the very reasonible price as is wifi. The shower was teh best I've had in south...

We stayed there two nights a couple of weeks apart. Family members were welcoming, friendly and helpful with advice on buses and taxis and assistance confirming airline reservations. Room and bathroom were clean and adequate. Breakfast of eggs, bread, jelly and coffee or tea was filling. Nice lounge and courtyard. Only drawback: Inconsiderate, guests whose unmodulated voices carry through masonry...
