The town is tiny and this hotel is located right between the archaeological site and the tourist restaurants. Staff are nice, though they took hours to bring a requested heater to the room. Bathroom was cold. Shower was warm in the evening, but there was no hot water in the morning. The river right outside the window provided nice white... More

We were given a gorgeous room with a balcony that looked out onto gorgeous gardens, a river and the mountains, the scenery was just spectacular and the sound of the river all night was amazing. The bed was incredibly warm and comfortable and the room was large and the bathroom too. The hotel itself was cosy and open, the middle... More

You can tell this property was cutting corners trying to keep costs down, but its a good location for the city and 10 min walk to the train station. I liked the staff, although I only saw 3 people, one front desk, one was a maintenance person, the other a breakfast person. I dont know why they are cutting corners,... More

We must remember to leave our first world country expectations at home. We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and used it as our home base for exploring the Sacred Valley. We planned this vacation over a one year period. We had read many reviews for this hotel recommending room 204, so we booked room 204. We booked it... More

Staff hospitality is the best this hotel is offering. You could not get excited about this hotel services. A night in Ollantaytambo represents 2 hours more of sleep if you go for early train to Machu Picchu compared to early morning train/bus from Cusco. In Cusco hotels are offering better value for money. In addition, we needed an afternoon in... More

Took a taxi from Cusco to the hotel. Stayed in room overlooking river with small balcony that looked out to the Inca ruins which are lit at night. Very nice place. Heard complaints about lack of hot water but I think it depends on when you leave. If you leave in the early am for Machu Picchu as most do,... More

That babbling brook seriously made our visit. My two friends and I aren't great sleepers, so the fact that we had the serene sound of flowing water right outside our door at night was amazing. We only stayed here 1 night, but I wish it could have been for longer. The ruins could be seen from our balcony, and it... More

This is a small, basic hotel that is perfect if you're visiting the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu and are not interested in adding luxurious accommodations to the cost. The location is great as it is located next to the ruins in town and some rooms overlook the ruins and the creek running down from the glacier to the river.... More

We stayed here for just one night but wish we could have spent more time. A beautiful location next to a rushing stream, a room with a view of the Inca ruins, Wi-Fi and a nice breakfast all included. The sounds of the city were muted and the atmosphere both romantic and historic

We stayed only one night at this hotel. The location is fantastic since it is walking distance to everything you need in this small town. All employees where very helpful and the breakfast was good. I loved our room by the river since the sound of the running water was very relaxing.
