Cute, clean place with hot showers. Amazing breakfast! Perfect for a long or short stay in Ollantaytambo. The location is ideal as it is near the city center but off the beaten path so it feels quiet and homey. We had originally reserved a triple but it was unavailable when we arrived so we were offered a double + a...

We spent 1 night at El Tambo, when returning by train from Machu Pichu. It's very clean and cozy, nice spacious rooms with shared bathrooms. The owners were incredibly nice, they gave tips for local supermarkets (which are really cheap compared to most others around) and restaurants. They made us feel very welcome even if we only stayed for one...

We stayed 2 nights with Paula and even so the streetlight shined into the room we enjoyed the clean friendly home. Because it is all woodenfloor you can hear the steps on the first floor, with a sift sleep you can recon when simeone leaved. But with some earplugs and an eyemask it is a pardise you step into. Fruittrees...

I stayed few nights at this cosy hostal. They have private rooms and dormitories as well, however, the bathroom is shared. Hot water 24 hours and always very clean. Beautiful garden, gorgeous view to the Inka ruins. Breakfast is an extra charge, but worth for the price. The family who runs the place is really lovely! Thank you for the...

The hostel is run by a friendly family. The place is simple but tidy, clean and beautiful. The location is good and close to the square but still quiet for a safe and comfortable stay. Hot water shower is provided and toilet is clean. The owner is nice and gave us advice on our travelling.

Clean, not expensive, safe. Wonderful owner, went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Hot water, working bathrooms, clean blankets. Also, the bar across the street - you HAVE to go, it's the coolest place in the whole town!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights after visiting Machu Picchu. We were pleasantly surprised by this family owned hospedaje. It has a bit of a 'cottage' feel to it, there are lots of beautiful plants and flowers in the common area that humming birds often visit. We stayed in a matrimonial room for s/. 30 per person....

We stayed here for 5 nights October 2014. This is the perfect place to have your own little Peru Home Stay! The home has been in the family for at least 100 years and is located down an Inca lane close to the main square. Quiet and convenient. It is a traditional adobe-covered U-shaped 2 storied, balconied home surrounding a...

Located near the main plaza, this family run hostal was one of the lovliest places we stayed at in Peru. Rooms are basic, breakfast too, but you go there for the welcoming hosts. A few words of spanish will help to communicate. Improvement: No light in the toilets upstairs, seems unfinished. Our best wishes to Paula, Beto and son.
