This hotel was ideally located . Right next to the train station. I Liked the farm aspect, you could tour their organic farm . I Might have liked more information about the farm aspect, maybe a pamphlet outlying information about the farm.

Lovely hotel with a helpful and considerate staff - they even cooked up one of the best Thanksgiving dinners for us Americans. Close to striking ruins and an adorable very authentic village. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel, beautiful grounds and excellent restaurant. There are three rooms overlooking the tracks that have no view and are noisy at certain times of the day, evening and morning. I would suggest avoiding them.

This is a great place to stay - having said that NO TRAINS WERE RUNNING while we were there - they were on strike. So it was quiet. We stayed in two rooms while there due to lack of back to back availability in one room. First was one way in the back, lower floor, at the back of the...

We stayed here the night before an early train trip to Machu Picchu. Love this hotel. It is simple yet elegant. Very comfortable beds, great spotlessly clean bath and the most lovely outdoor garden full of tropical plants and a bonus of tiny kittens when we were there last week. There is a great old world vibe because the train...

We visited this hotel as a couple in December 2016. Of course its main advantage is the location, which is literally at the Ollantaytambo train station and thus allows you to save time when going/arriving from Machu Picchu. Its charming and the gardens are indeed nice and well maintained. The room we had was located at the ground floor, was...

El Alberge Hotel is conveniently located right by the train tracks of Ollantatambo train station so getting on and off the train to Machu Picchu could not be easier and more convenient. This classic boutique hotel provides comfortable and spacious accomodations in a serene setting that harkens to a bygone era, but at once offers the attention to detail and...

The hotel could not be more conveniently located as it is physically part of the train station that takes visitors down the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu. It is also a very short and easy walk to the Ollantaytambo ruins (which should not be overlooked by those who are coming to Peru to see Inca ruins), and to the charming...

El Albergue is beautiful, quaint, idyllic, and yet modern and hip. It is an oasis in the small town of Ollantaytambo with its own organic farm, distillery, and coffee roaster. The food in the restaurant comes from the organic farm and is fantastic. The rooms are simple but clean and classic. The gardens surrounding the rooms are wonderful for relaxing....

We stayed at the hotel recently for 2 nights to visit Machu Picchu and enjoyed the smaller scale and quiet setting. The staff was very friendly and service very good. It was especially convenient to be so close to the train station, yet not noisy at all as our room was in the back facing a garden setting. It also...
