Everything was great at el Albergue! A beautiful place with nice gardens. My room was great in every aspect. The staff was super nice. The restaurant offered vegetarian options and was very tasty. Plenty of options for breakfast to get you ready for hiking Machu Picchu! I would definitely stay there again (but perhaps ask for a room away from...

The hotel gives straight onto the train platform at Ollantaytambo, which is very convenient for catching the train to Aguas Calientes/Machu Picchu. The hotel is very pleasant, with simple rooms that are spacious, and wooden shutters on the inside of the windows. The place gives every appearance of being eco-conscious and gives you the opportunity of recycling batteries, plastics etc......

Ate here on my recent stay in Ollantaytambo, Absolutely fantastic, the food (pumpkin soup followed by pasta with a mushroom based "sauce"), the service (lead by super attentious Saul, the maitre d'), the place, everything. Undoubtedly, on of my best meals in Peru so far!!!

We had an excellent waitress on the morning of our trip who ensured that we had a cooked b/f before our v early train. Lovely meal in restaurant that night also and reasonably priced. Bed comfortable and rooms ok for short stay. Garden...

We stayed at El Albergue for four nights and it was a wonderful experience. We had everything we needed, the rooms were spacious, the bathrooms well appointed, the beds very comfortable and the gardens lovely. We had two excellent dinners and the breakfasts were varied and filling. The organic farm was very interesting and we were impressed with the recycling...

One of the highlights of Ollantaytambo is Alburgue. They have the best food and wonderful, very helpful staff. They helped arrange our trips and cabs and also let us use some of their facilities when we weren't staying there They were the only place in town with a generator when the power went out. All pasta is home made and...

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in on my trip. I booked it for the convenience of being able to take an early train to machu picchu. It's so cool how the hotel is right on the tracks and yet you don't hear much noise while you sleep. The room they gave us was huge and...

The hotel is absolutely breathtaking and the staff was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful inside and all with views of a lovely garden and the mountains of the Sacred Valley. The restaurant offers delicious food and a welcoming environment. One of my absolute favorite places in Peru.

We loved Albuergue so much, it was hard to leave! Their restaurant is incredible with organic produce from the farm on their property. The staff were more than a dream... I just can't recommend this place enough. It's amazing!
