If you are an independent traveler who enjoys exploring on your own and sampling different restaurants or local attractions, you may think twice before staying at this remote hotel. The compound is at the end of a rough unpaved road--near a river (and yes, the river can flood...see 2010!) in the middle of nowhere. Several groups stopped at this hotel--and...

Excellent hotel in spectacular surroundings with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are huge with all modern amenities. Breakfast is included in room charges and is quite extensive. Kids enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, though the pool was not heated. Onsite restaurant and sushi bar has good choices for all types of cuisine.

The hotel's facilities are excellent. The gym and spa are impressive. Couldn't quite understand the cold pool though. The hot tub is cozy. Could be a little hotter. The rooms are a little dark and the curtains seem that came from IKEA hence their bad quality. The best part of the hotel is the staff. Always bending over backwards for...

I was in a group being driven from Cuzco to the hotel and was worried when we left the main highway and drove a very short way down a rutted road, but then this wonderful hotel appeared. We only spent two nights there and were visiting Machu Picchu and other sites most of the time and everyone said that they...

Since I arrived I could feel a really warm welcome from all the people who work there. The bedroom was perfectly clean and very accurate with a detail everyday! The food was more than delicious and the drinks unique! I loved the church, the lake, the spa, the cinema!!! Everything was perfect!!!!

This place feels remote, located in a converted hacienda in the middle nowhere. Inside, the manicured grounds are beautiful, with water features and a small church. Breakfast buffet was ample. Due to the remote location, you'll need to either stock up before you get here or eat at the hotel.

This is a large, modern hotel situated in beautiful grounds which comes as something of a surprise as it is accessed via a dirt track road. My wife and I stayed there for one night and were upgraded to a Junior Suite. This was a huge open plan room with kitchen, dining room, bedroom (which included a spa bath) and...

If you are visiting the Sacred Valley for tourism purposes, there are other options. The concept of this hotel is more for people trying to relax for the weekend and not leave the installations of the hotel, because it is enormous and has everything so visitors don't have to go anywhere. I would consider the hotel more oriented towards business...

This is obviously a hotel for group travel. The buildings are stunning but there is a lack of attention to detail.
