This is such a lovely property with many charming features from llamas grazing on the grounds to a popcorn cart for snacking as you stroll around. The spa, gift shops, and restaurant were clean and professional. We stayed here on a quick trip to Machu Picchu and did not have as much time to enjoy this hotel as we would...

An utter surprise awaits you as you drive through dusty cornfields to a large, unassuming gate. Inside is Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel. What a gem. Rooms are enormous and gorgeous. Beds are clean and comfortable. Modern, open rooms with views of beautiful landscaping, orchards, river and more. Alpacas (humorously named Tomas and Tomasina) wander the grounds, which are lush, green...

Many people intending to visit Machu Picchu may travel directly from Cusco to Aguas Calientes, skipping over the Sacred Valley (Ollantaytambo/Urubamba) region entirely. I would not recommend this. The people, food, and scenic views of the Sacred Valley were more impressive than anywhere else we visited in Peru, and Aranwa Sacred Valley was the perfect home base for our explorations....

It is a lovely property in the sacred Valley. hoever given its ratings and price the service is unacceptable: wi fi almost never works, the reception was supposed to print our boarding passes and instead lost our itenary print out and acted non chalant, the food was always served late and one night it took 2 hours for the soup....

The title of this review does not do this hotel justice. The Aranwa Sacred Valley is simply spectacular. We stayed for only one night at this resort as we prepared for the Inca trail, but I wish we would have had more days at this hotel. The rooms are large, and comparable to the best hotels in North America. The...

The Aranwa Sacred Valley is an absolute treasure. The setting is gorgeous, the rooms are unique and relaxing, the food is delicious and most of all, the service is impeccable. The service that guests receive is beyond what one would expect at a luxury hotel. During our three day visit, we met a number of Aranwa staff members that went...

At first blush this hotel looks wonderful. Lovely grounds and nice rooms with good beds, spacious bathrooms and plenty of space (we had an upper floor room that I would recommend). Something of a remote oasis. But then the truth kicks in. This is a gilded cage. This place charges full prices in US$ so should provide a commensurate service....

What a beautiful property! One an a half hour from Cusco on the way to Machu Picchu, this place used to be a colonial hacienda. The owner has turned this into an incredible resort. The gardens are amazing! The original hacienda building has so many things to see. The resort includes a spa, movie theater, shops, restaurants and more! The...

A very beautiful resort hotel with excellent services. Would love to have stayed longer. The whole area is geared for rest, a relaxing vacation , spa and even contemplations, and a good night's sleep in rooms that is artfully decorated to make one feel more pampered. Everyone spoke English and the food was great.

This is a very nice hotel with 5 star attributes. The service is excellent and the dining areas are great. For a non-believer it is a bit over the top with religious icons. Especially the chapel that dominates the grounds.
