We had lunch at this cozy lodge, outdoors, overlooking the river, and the grilled chicken and steak were delicious with the chimmichurri sauce, freshly made with garlic, herbs, olive oil and lime. We spend one week in this small but cozy inn, sourrounded by nature. Rooms have a good size and are overall bright, the decoration is cabin like, typical for the area and we found it very well located. The service is great, the owners are friendly and very well connected to the comunity. They know much about the area and...

The owner is very helpful if you need some tips. Hamacs are around which make your stay relax and calm, hearing the sound of the river....

One great find that could be of interest to others. A beautiful inn on the Urubamba riverside where the track from the Maras saltmines ends. It is called Arcoiris del Puente (Rainbow at the Bridge). Idyllic setting, great lunch and very nice rooms with tiled bathrooms, hotwater and heat. We came across it at the end of our hike from...
