We stayed here as a type of home base for a mission trip. The place was great, as were our hosts Colqui and Alejandra. Both are very giving of information to the area, and the sustainable ecological use of llamas in trekking. Their passion for their country is palpable. Ursula the cook/ housekeeper was great as well. All our food... More

We looked at the good reviews and wanted to stay at the hostel. We arrived without reservation. Unfortunately no one opened the door. It was 3pm and only the dogs came to the door. It's disappointing. A sign with a note would have been helpful.

I only stayed here one night, and if it weren't for this hostel, I wouldn't have enjoyed the small town of Urubamba at all. I arrived and thankfully one of the helpers was leaving as I arrived and he was able to call the owner, otherwise I would have been completely out of luck with no way of checking in...so... More

This awesome little hostel is run by a dedicated and fun young couple who also work doing community reintroduction of llama projects in the surrounding hills. Their community work is wonderful and they are both experienced mountaineers and are lots of fun!

We stayed in the hostel the night before leaving on an amazing 3 day trek with Coqui, Max, Patricio and his troupe of 20 llamas!!! The hostel is simple but v comfortable, clean and well equipped. The trek however was just out of this world - up to 5000 metres and the glacier, incredible countryside / views, amazing experience to... More

Absolutely incredible experience, the facilities were top notch, clean safe and comfortable; the scenery was spectacular, the crew was friendly and knowledgable. The only problem: our three days werent nearly enough. First of all I support their efforts 100% and think they're a wonderful family. We had a blast staying here for a night and regret not staying longer. The house is very comfortable and the grounds are really fun - the female llama even joined in our photos and let us get close. They offer amazing tours at great prices... More

We visited this hostel last December with our 3 girls and from the moment we arrived there was no turning back. Let me just tell you that when Coqui (the owner and host) open the door we were welcomed not just by his warmth smile but a baby Llama, a super friendly dog, a charming puppy called 'Monstruo' and a... I've stayed 6 days. The house has everything you need. Excellent beds, hot water, very clean, well-equipped kitchen, spacey living room. Owners are great! They provide all the information you need about the surroundings. Freshly brewed coffee and warm local bread for breakfast. Couldn't be better. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back!
