We booked for our Anniversary as we wanted somewhere to relax and unwind after completing the Inca Trail. The bungalows are so amazing. The fire was stacked and ready to light, we were welcomed by amazing staff and they had placed flowers and a bottle of wine in our room. The property also houses the Foundation del Arco Iris, with...

This is a very good hotel, connected to an education insitution for Peruvian children. The rooms are in small houses with large rooms and a well-equipped bathroom. An open fire place is very useful for the cold evenings. Highly recommended!

Excellent hospitality, beautiful rooms and settings, very good dinner and breakfast. The hotel is linked with a foundation that takes care of education of children from very poor backgrounds. They do primary education and training in hotel mange men and information management.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights after completing the Inca Trail. We wanted a place to recover and relax and we were so lucky to have found Arco Iris. They arranged a driver to pick us up from the train station in Ollantaytambo which was wonderful. The bungalows are just gorgeous, large, with fireplaces and huge beautiful...

This is an oasis of beautiful gardens, flowers, birds, with helpful staff and great homemade food. The bungalows have big fireplaces, so we lit a fire, as it’s quite chilly when the sun goes down (‘it’s not Chile’, the kids say, ‘it’s Peru’…). The profits from this hotel support a local community project for children – extra primary school education...

We rested here after arriving directly from London. It was a perfect place to recover, adjust to the altitude. The staff were beyond helpful, so kindly and gentle. The little cottage we stayed I was very cosy, we didn't light a fire, but all the logs were there and it would've been great. We walked past a wonderful meadow of...

This is my second time at Arcos Iris. It is located just off of the main highway in Urubamba. Note: If the moot-taxi's don't know where you are going, mention La foundation niños del acros iris. They seem to know that better than the hotel. In my last stay, I was in a bungalow which are very beautiful and spacious....

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of August and it was fantastic. The rooms are beautiful with open fires to keep out the evening chill. The service was impeccable and the food great too - we ate both nights in the restaurant. The staff gave us a very interesting tour of the school and it was great...

We stayed here for two nights before making our way to Machu Picchu and we were absolutely amazed! It is a beautiful place and our favourite part of the accommodation was the open fire in the bunglow. The service was great and people were really friendly. The chef's cooking was brilliant - and the best part was that there was...
