If this place one travellers choice 2019 Whoever voted for it to win that must not have stayed here this place is very close to the Mercure and has been treated in exactly the same way it has been allowed to run down into an absolute dump. Rooms are tiny and cramps air-conditioner is noisy and rattling Only one solution here pull it down and start again
Good hotel, great staff but ask for a room well away from the next door nightclub if you want any sleep On main road with several excellent restaurants within walking distance. It is a lot safer here than Suva so walking OK
Wifi was included in package but have to buy, very poor service,no hair dryer, beds not good enough, pillows too huge,no whitener,no spoons to make coffee or tea. Coffee and (poor quality) tea bags are available. When I asked for milk, reception said I have to buy from the super market. And also the reception mentioned that we are 3 star. It was to me like indicating why did you come here (I am addressing the hotel owner,)? Some staff can explain clearly whilst other staff are not flexible and don't know customer service at all. Credit card payments cannot be done for any other services than room payment. This means else like, dinner, need to buy wifi etc cannot be added to room. If you have no cash you are in trouble. It is a very bad place. This place is not worth for money paid at all and so it is up to you to decide if to stay there.…
I stayed for 2 weeks...I was going to hush over my thoughts but people deserve to know. The TV had no remote. I was insulted by desk lady. Housekeeping may or may not steal. Many people have told the manager who seems willing to work thing out...I know he spoke with clerk about insults but padlock your stuff. Seems to be a popular place for fijian couples to come party. Weekends are noisy. I paid for a deluxe room for 2 days but was not given such..
This hotel is in a good area. You have a good restuarant across the street good food and reasonable prices. Next door is pizza and chicken shop.Next to them is a local supermarket and 3 different restaurants and a bakery. The taxi fee to Nadi town is $10 and taxi fee to the Port is $18-20. The rooms are clean but the curtains and tiling really need replacing. It is very tired and old. There is a kettle for tea/coffee. This is not a resort so do not expect 5 star accomodation. You mix with the locals as they can afford to stay here which is fine. We only saw one other couple Aussies the rest were Fijians on holidays. We did not eat in the restaurant but it is avail nor do i know the prices. Would i stay here again probably not. I would stay at a resort on the coral coast. That would be more like the fiji experience i would have liked. Breakfast was fruit, toast, cereal, tea/coffee which is fine. The girls on the front desk were great and helpful. …
