It is a fact that the French Polynesia is very expensive. Found the Fare Suisse Tahiti on the internet. The hotel looks clean and simple so it was OK for a one night stay. Moreover the owner provide transfer so it was really convenient.

Yes the owners are very accommodating. We used a day room until about 9 pm. It was quite hot so we relaxed in the adequate air conditioning. We made a run to the local market a few blocks away and ate with that since it was a holiday and nearly everything closed. You will love the Windstar cruise!
