It’s not a perfect place, nor the best hotel where I stayed, but for me it was love at fists sight. Before my arrival I set up an airport pick up for a reasonable price and it was perfectly on time. At first I was given a double room for single use on the top floor, with a mansard roof...

I have spent 5 nights in that place. I was allowed a room on the 3rd floor, which is an attic. I am quite short, but unless you are a hobbit, there is no way you can stay in this type of room. No closet for the clothes, heater full blast, so I had to open the window with 5...

We spent 2 nights there, my husband and me and we had really pleasant staying. Location is perfect, just few minutes walk from Bašćaršija, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Hotel is hard to find because it is situated in a corner alley. Parking is catastrofic - in reality it is not a parking but just a coridor street where you can put your car and then they make you leave your keys at the reception because no one who is in front of your car can't get out. Hotel...

Although cheaper than some of the city's alternatives, this hotel did not represent value for money. The room was small, unclean and with dangerous looking sockets. The shower room was cover in mildew and the plugs did not drain causing the room to fllod and then not dry. Finally, despite it being in the high 30s during our stay not...

Very shabby room, not clean, bad working shower, .... And on top of that, the staff screwed it up totally. There is one lady who seems to suffer from moodswings (from friendly to extremely rude and shouting in a few seconds). Totally not adequate.... Dont expect too much from their "private parking": your car will end up in some narrow...

After roaming around the city looking for a cheap place to stay, and refusing quite a few horrible rooms, we were pointed to this hotel, and it was a good find. The hotel has new pleasant rooms for about 70 euros (double with breakfast), but also has an older building in the back, where we were able to get a...

Arrived in Sarajevo at night and it was hard to find the hotel, the parking place was very narrow, you basically park on the street right in front of a construction place. The streets were narrow everywhere though. The rooms are a bit small and the beds are so close to the ground, and without air conditioning, instead, there was...

“I had a room om the 1sr floor whidh is up one staircase, but is technically still their bottom-level floor. I would definitely recommend this set-up, because even if you luck out and get a top-floor hotel with a pretty good view of the city, is that worth also having only 6-foot ceilings, sloping/angled ceilings, etc. Oh, I almost forgot, but when traveling to Sarajevo, DO KEEP IN MIND that roughly 34-38% of their population are faithful practitiona ofIslam. There is a medium-sized Mosque right next door to Hotel Hayat and, while I lucked out with a room on the opposite side, the women of the group apparently were staying in rooms with a First-Class ticket to the Muslimto tradition of the Morning Prayer blasting out traditional Atabic tonals which one cannot nor should not hit the snooze button to ease the situation.”
