Recently renovated this hotel has a bright and welcoming lobby and attentive check-in staff. The decor may not be to everyones choice being very funky but this is not carred up to the rooms which are very plain. Sadly the fit out of the rooms lets everything down, not a great bed, very poor bedclothes, terrible pillows, threadbare towels ...... More

The receptionists were rude, there was no iron in the room and when I asked the reception for it they said they would not provide it. However there was a big fat bug in the bathroom instead. This hotel just does not worth the money.

I stayed here for 2 days. I was visiting Sofia to watch the World Cup Qualifier between Bulgaria and Belarus at the Vasil Levski stadium. The hotel was a 5 minute walk away from the Metro stadium, James Boulevard. The reception and lobby is grand. My room was on the 10th floor. Inside it was OK but very very tired... More

One of the worst experience in my entire life. Hotel reception and lobby are tricked. ( Stander ) Rooms are big but very old awful smell through floors hall even the renovated rooms are still the same only some more new sheets and furniture. Receptionists are nice, friendly. Concierge are friendly as well. Parking not as mentioned during booking as... More

This is one of the worst cases of "star fraud" I've ever experienced. The entire hotel is overall poorly maintained and things like torn and stained carpet are the norm. Some of the rooms have not been renovated in decades, perhaps since the communist era. In fact, the hotel reception even warned about the terrible "Old, "communist style" rooms we... More

It is a very old and tired:)) hotel!!! If you are old enough you can remember the old furniture with button (switches) for radios, lights…etc), That is what I found in my only 1 night stay here. I would say 3 star (I feel generous today:)). Sorry, I won't come again. It was a business trip, 1 night, but...I do... More

Its hotel lobby is welĺ designed. Check in was very fast even though we were in a large group. Room size for twin sharing was modest and its bathroom is elegant and very clean. Breakfast is awesome. Nice stay.

Only some of the rooms are renovated there is a mixture of old and new rooms. One should ask for the renovated ones. The interesting part are the many restauarnts and bars inside the hotel which are good and cheerfull. I would say it is value for money
