This establishment has figured out how to lure foreign travellers by a bait and switch tactic that is unbelievable....until it happens to you! They switched the room I booked and the breakfast that comes with the room is supposedly served in an onsite cafe that is never open! This place was loud, dirty and the smug faces of the staff... The way I will start this review may at first glance appear negative, but please read all.I travel, well in some ways to much but its a life style and stay in many different apparments and hotels. This is not my first trip to Sofia and have a fairly strong knowledge of the city. This was my very first time staying at Red... More

It was a pleasure to stay in Red Bed and Breakfast. Artists place, big and specious rooms, home made cake with raspberries... It was only a few steps from city centre, nice restaurants and shops, I will recommend it to all my friends visiting Sofia.

Love this place - stayed here in December 2013 and got breakfast delivered to our room on Christmas morning, since the cafe was closed. It's got shared bathrooms, which may not be your thing, and sometimes the credit card machine at the front desk appeared not to be working, but this is probably my favorite place to stay in Sofia.... This is located in a wonderful building that once was home to one of Bulgaria's most prominent sculptors. We like that it hasn't been modernised and keeps its old character - lovely airy rooms with high ceilings and tall windows. The place is tastefully decorated with huge posters from Harper's Bazaar, comfy sofas and interesting artistic pieces. It's very centrally... More

Artistic hostel, interesting rooms and ok kitchen to cook your meals. Street cats and dogs were fighting every night and woke me up from time to time. The staff was nice even some of them little bit bizarre drinking strong alcohol during their shift. Great place to meet travelling people.

This place is really an alternative to budget accomodation with an articstic style and easy going, character that makes you feel very welcome. Well located for walking in the city centre and the most interesting areas to visit and close to public transport. The staff was very present yet not imposing and helpful during our stay.

frankly i dont know where to start: LP calls it an art gallery with a bohemian touch. i call it a dump, which has nothing to do with an art gallery, a mixture of floors with storage bad art and dusty furniture, rooms noisy smelly and full of moths, bathrooms shared for 30 euro and in sofia you can get...
