Staying at the Westin Zagreb is a calm and comfortable experience. It is central, clean and well organised. The food was genuine, good and varied. Although it is a large hotel, the staff are helpful and give you personalised attention.

We were there with a tour and I have to say it was a disappointing hotel. It was tired and felt like it had been a grand hotel at one time but was not being maintained. They did not seem to have their act together for the breakfast and the rooms were often not cleaned until late int he day....

We came to the hotel in the morning. Front desk was not organized and slow. The hotel gets a lot of organized tours so for a regular traveler you get little attention. Although I booked in advanced and asked for specific rooms (double bed, non-smoking etc.), I got rooms that I had to change. The front desk told me that...

I expected it to be like a Westin in the States, but it is not. Our hall walls are all marked, carpeting throughout Hotel is tired and must be pulled tight against walls as someone can trip and fall. Our room had the same carpeting, the bathroom sink doesn't have a lever to open and close the stopper. We told...

The room had a superb view and the bed is super. The room is well equipped and has everything you need. The staff is attentive willing to help. It's situated near the city center and everything important is within walking distance.

Supposedly 5 star hotel has no slippers, has a cramped bathroom that has not been renovated in the past 40 years and doesn't have some amenities it boasts of on its website or the brochure in its room. The sink in the bathroom is a metal bowl sink that seems to hace been recycled from an old train bathroom. The...

Centrally located in Zagreb although i don't think it is in a walking distance from the main square as they tell you at the hotel. Nicely decorated with confortable rooms especially due to the Westin beds but not really a 5 *. The staff is quite nice but their knowlodge is quite poor . Concierges are quite young and unexperienced....

The Westin is huge, this has an advantage as one can go for walks round the town and not get lost, every now and again it will appear.
