The rooms are clean, the position of the hotel is very good for sightseeing. However, there was one person which sort of destroyed the experience for us and that was the young waitress. Extremely bored, never smiling, not friendly at all and when we had a bit of misunderstanding due to her bad English she probably decided for a small...

Hotel was located close to down down. We can walk from the hotel to down town. There are museums and many other places close to hotel. I stayed there for a week and i enjoyed. Metro station also near by hotel. We can reach metro by 15 mins walk. Breakfast also good.

Located in central Bucharest is convenient and the hotel is more than adequate. Rooms are normal size for Europe and amenities are a bit above most other moderate priced hotels. Robe, slippers, toiletries, coffee, refrigerator. Good internet and desk to work on. Breakfast buffet is good. Small bar and restaurant in the hotel and small grocery across the street.

A superior double is small and reasonably well appointed with 2 armchairs and air conditioning, The large balcony we felt offset the smaller room size., Views from the balcony are not brilliant but it is a nice large shared area (with next room) to relax. Bathroom is a good size and well appointed, there is a safe but no no...

This is a pleasant hotel, if rather bland and lacking in character. The staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast was outstanding! I have never stayed in a place where we got omelettes prepared on the spot to our individual requirements!

Small hotel located near the main street in Bucarest. Men at the reception was very rude and not welcoming. Made bad jokes about not speaking English and told us that the requested type of bed ( large bed ) was not available in our room because the hotel was full. Nice clean room with a safe and a small Fridge....

Our only complaints were that our room key card often failed and needed to be replaced and the elevators were slow (especially it seems when we needed to go to the desk and get a new card) Otherwise all was well

Can not fault the Berthelot. Staff are exceptional - especially Traian, who is very knowledgeable about all things Romania and his English is very good. The restaurant is fabulous - breakfasts consist of cereals, hot foods buffet, and chefs will prepare eggs any way you want. The rooms are very modern and super clean. The bar is small, but sells...

The hotel is placed close to the objectives that can be visited: museum, palace of parliament, atheneu, old city of Bucharest. The room was nice, clean and modern. Everything was ok except the parckage. There are only few places to parck and it's very expensive: 10€ per night.

Thank Dragomir E
