The photos of Booking.com are not representative The rooms are 80's decorated The service is poor and amateur. I really do not understand how this guys are taking the stars Unfortunately my request for an upgrade... was to take finally a room with no window outside and 35 degrees stacked air conditioner !!

If you decide to book this hotel, go to booking.com. By all means don't buy the room in the reception, it will cost a fortune. And it doesn't make any sense. Capsa is one of the oldest hotels in Bucharest, very well located (at 3-4 min walk from the Old City Center), nicely decorated (if you are into vintage stuff,...

Due to refund us for one night 31 Jan as we were accommodated in a room that was not habitable due to the heating system being broken and having to sleep in 30C room during our NY break which you ruined as I got sick!!! We had the windows opened all night and there was a lot of noise from...

+ Beautiful Hotel with a charming atmosphere. ~The staff was okay. - We did not go to breakfast as we were told it is 15€ per person, which seems ridiculously expensive for Romania. - My problem was that the Hotel rooms were extremely overheated in November and while my family members could moderate the heat by opening the windows, my...

Wonderful hotel with a good vibe in the city center. The room and bathroom were spotless. Wooden furniture a little bit old, but well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised the towels and the sheets did not have that "hotel smell". Only downside I would say is that hotel parking is on the roadside and there is a risk not to...

If it was lower category hotel, it would probably deserve "Poor". The only good side of it is the location. Everything else you do not want to try. I understand historic heritage of the building, but we live in 21st century for a while already. We do expect to have possibility of adjusting temperature in the room, for example. I...

I stayed at the Capsa for a few nights a couple weeks ago and while I enjoyed my stay it was not without issues. First off the location is unbeatable for Bucharest. You are walking distance to most things that would be vital for a tourist, including Old Town which is important for eating and going out every night. As...

Lots of gold and high ceilings. If you are into that kind of stuff this hotel may be for you! I found the building nice and the location central _but_ the hotel did not deserve five stars! Closed bar, miniscule mini bar in the room, "over worked"-feeling of staff.

This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment, old stained carpets, entrance was once upon a time magestic but has lost its glow as it's not looked after, it looks runned down. We were allocated in the worst possible room. Right at the back with views to a wall. Really hot inside and the thick walls with fabric do not...
