its was my first time to try hotel Michelangelo, the location is good, especially with respect to airport and western parts of the city, old city center is not easily reachable with a walk, but possible, hotel is medium size, not very modern, but all equipment in good condition, rooms are big and comfortable

It was an overall warm and welcoming experience. Everyone from the staff is nice and always helpful, really caring. :) The room gets checked and cleaned every day, and the breakfast offers quite a big variety including cakes and hot meals. It's located in the central district, with things to see all around, and only roundabout 20 minutes walking to... More

We spent 7 nights here and had no complaints. The staff were great and couldn't do enough for us. It's not a 5 star hotel but we didn't expect that. What is is is a comfortable, clean, central hotel with a good sized room and fairly good facilities. We weren't looking for anything else so we were happy with what... More

The 783 bus from the airport stops at "Victoria Square" (Piata Victoriei) where there is also a metro station. The hotel is walking distance, south of the square. The staff at reception spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The room was clean with free toiletries, A/C and a safe. The metro was convenient and easy to use.

This hotel is fairly basic but they offer a great price and exceptional service. I was extremely impressed with the staff members here! They were incredibly helpful which made my stay so much easier and less stressful. The location is great and the heart of the city is an easy walk. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking... More

Do yourself a favor and book a double superior room. It is drastically better than the singles. The service is the best you could expect in this price range. It is in a quiet neighborhood so there is minimal noise even though it is centrally located.

I stayed here for 2 nights while in Bucharest. It was quite easy to get to from the airport, the bus takes you straight to Victoria Square then it's a quick walk down a side street to the hotel. It's on a quiet side street and was quite easy to find. The hotel staff are very helpful. When I arrived... More

The pictures that I saw were not very promising. Instead, I found a clean room, wide and clean bathroom, with toiletries, helpful staff. You can rest nicely, the beds were comfortable and clean. The only problem is that the phonic isolation is virtually nonexistent. You can hear what goes on in the other rooms as if you were there... Not... More

We spent two nights at this hotel this month, mid-week, returning after a one night visit last June. We wanted something central and close to public transit. This hotel is situated between Piata Romana and Piata Victoriei underground stations, and has good restaurants in the vicinity. We were offered a free upgrade to a larger room in the front building.... More

I stayed at Hotel Michelangelo twice so far, once in May 2014 (in the smaller building by the street), and more recently in May 2016 (in the larger building, near the reception). This hotel is an incredible value, considering the overall location, quality of rooms, and customer service. During my recent stay of more than a week, I had the... More
