Rooms are ok for this price. Terrible staff on reception, conditioner was not working. One evening I tried to order food from my room - no chance, nobody answered phone. Breakfasts are great. Hotel is located near city center and railway station - 15 minutes by walk to get to Khreshatik.

Hotel Lybid is a right choice for business traveller, who wants to be close to the city center, but has a lot of travel in the city during the business day. The building was built by the occasion of the Olympic Games in Moscow. The olympic symbol : Mishka-bear statue still meets the hotel guests at the entrance. The huge...

This large hotel is near the railway station in Kiev. The receptionists speak some English and are quite helpful. The rooms are plain, quite small, but adequate with basic facilities. There are seating areas in the lobby (which is the only place you can get wifi reception). They do not supply bottled water but there is a water dispenser in...

This place is not horrible. Just overpriced for what you get. Room quality is sub par. Fan and air con didn't work, which forces you to open your windows to a very busy Kiev intersection. I stayed here for a week. While the hotel is central (near some good shopping and a food market, restaurants, etc), the price you pay...

Not such a bad hotel, but... If the smell of stale cigarette smoke bothers you (maybe this is smoke from past decades, as no one seems to be smoking in public areas at least), you may want to give the Lybid a pass. The hotel is also more or less attached to a gentleman's club, which means that the bar...

Lybid hotel is quite central location on a busy junction.. İt feels a bit old feeling for the lobby but rooms are quiet ok for the prices it has.. And if you able to book a room on top floors you definitely will enjoy your stay with a great view of the room..

hotel Lybid is very good located on Peremohy Place, when you plan the visit to Kiev Expo Plaza on ul. Salutnaya, very good connection with just one troleybus directly to the exhibition with very low price for ticket, also good connection to the center of Kiev (Khreschatik and Maidan). The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are convenient, however...

A real heartbreak that this large Hotel with it's great location and spacious airy building has been neglected for so many years. Having lodged here for the month of June and July 2014 The issues are too long to list. However if you want to embrace 'Soviet' then book-in for a day or two. Immediate Tasks? Taxi 'Vultures', Lecherous Security...

Terrible hotel in desperate need of refurbishment and Customer Service training for the staff. My room was dirty, stank of old cigarette smoke and had a large stain on the ceiling above the (lumpy) bed. The bathroom was an outrage - I wouldn't have stepped barefoot into the shower if my life had depended on it. Complained and was given...
