I stayed at this hotel as part of a group of over 100 people. Despite the size, the hotel staff remained always courteous and were able to solve crises (such as plumbing, missing keys, etc.) right away. The rooms are small, but super clean. The food was tasty. We always felt we entered an oasis of safety and tranquility after... More

Well this hotel apparently looks nice but the service is really bad.....if you want to have dinner at 6 the restaurant is closed......the rooms are small & noisy. The towels are really bad like they need to buy better ones & more newer. The pool is really freezing cold.

For the cost and location, it is an excellent choice. for those staying in El Salvador for one night or longer you cant go wrong. The staff is great and 99% of the time there is someone who speaks English. You are directly behind the Intercontinental, in Zona Real (50 fun bars, a few super safe with great food. One... More

the rooms are loud, you can hear almost everything that is happening in the lobby. this includes the staff conversing in the lobby at 6 in the morning and people ringing the door bell at 1:30 AM. the hotel is clean, and the beds are ok, but for the price you can find something similar, and much less noisy near... The hotel is a couple of hundred yards from the Intercontinental but in a completely different price range. It is as clean as a three star hotel in the US would typically be, which is not always the case in less developed countries. The staff members are friendly and efficient and there are always taxis across the street. There are... More

You won't mistake the Miramonte for its neighbor the Intercontinental, but it is located in a seemingly safe neighborhood convenient to the Metrocentro Mall, the largest in Central America. Every fast food restaurant you've ever heard of - and some you haven't - are located in multiple locations around the area. There are also several "sports" bars around the corner... More

Situated in a residential neighborhood, yet very near a large modern shopping mall, a main avenue and a stretch of ramshackled but fun bars and restaurants, the Mirante is in a good-location. The building is not new and not renovated; it's a rambling wreck of a place, but with an atmospheric feel. Room furnishings appear to be at least thirty... More

“There a newer part of the hotel which can be reached by elevator as well as an older area at street level near the dining room. The former has a first world type bathroom while the latter is less modern but maybe more 'authentic' in atmosphere. I was in the older part and slept like a log.”
