I choose to stay once again at Double Tree by Hilton in Managua, based on the pleasant experiences I had before. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised of the excellent team they have assembled. In the restaurant, food menu is excellent, fresh food and very well prepared, fruits are plentiful and fresh fruit juices are a delight. on our first visit to the restaurant, I was totally surprised by Lourdes, our waitress from previous occasions, she came by and said hello, long time no see you, how have you been? As usual she was very friendly and polite, very attentive to our needs. Restaurant staff is now complemented with a very gracious and friendly hostess; Arllery. There is also Laleska a rising start who works along side Lourdes making sure everyone gets served in the most pleasant way. Hats off for the hotel staff who made this trip so memorable for my wife and I. Front desk, housekeeping and of course restaurant staff. Room was very clean and the whole hotel looks impecable. Highly recommended without hesitation, it’s truly a pleasure to stay in this property.

My wife and I, once again stayed in this hotel for a week. Service was exceptional, we were very impressed in the mornings by Lourdes and Luis in the restaurant. We were greeted very warmly and made us feel at home. At night time, our waitress at the restaurant Sol Perez was very helpful and diligent in helping us with choosing from the menu and even suggested that we can have our dinner by the pool if we wished. Food was great either at breakfast or dinner. We loved hotel’s location and sense of security surrounding the whole area. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable.

My wife and I stayed for 6 days at this property. We received a very warm welcoming from the staff from the get go. The room was impecable and modern, the view of the lake just outstanding to say the least. We enjoyed breakfast everyday and the variety of fresh fruits, juice, and food was excellent. The staff was very polite and attentive, Raul and Lourdes were very friendly and by our second day they already knew how we like our coffee.!! They went above and beyond our expectations. Great job to the General manager and management team for running a clean and well maintained hotel. Please keep it that way!!

Everything about our stay was lovely. This hotel opened during the beginning of Covid and had managed to keep the quality top notch. All the workers were friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean. We enjoyed the huge pool snd had a lovely lunch over looking the pool. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and we will definitely stay here again when traveling through Managua

From the moment we arrived to the hotel to the day we left everyone was so courteous and warm. Excellent breakfast and the staff so kind. The room was very clean and comfortable. The security Officer made us feel safe arriving their late at night. Overall we loved it!

Pros: The hotel itself is visually appealing and appears to be newly constructed. The front desk staff were courteous and welcoming.
Cons: Our disappointment began when we entered our bathroom and the shower had hair and debris, requiring us to clean it thoroughly before use. It wasn't the best way to start our stay, but we probably would have given 4/5 stars if that was the only issue.
The most concerning part of our stay occurred during our departure for an early morning flight. Despite asking the hotel for advice on departure time for our 5:45am flight, we were simply advised to leave at 3:30am without any mention of potential safety concerns. As we drove towards the airport, we were surrounded by 3 motorcyclists attempting to rob us for most of the drive. We almost crashed our car trying to get away from them. It was disheartening to learn later from other Nicaraguans that driving at night in Managua carries significant risks, a fact that was not communicated to us by the hotel staff. We would have appreciated a warning about the potential dangers of nighttime travel and would have adjusted our plans accordingly. This avoidable experience left my husband wondering if someone from the hotel was behind the incident.
Having traveled to countries like Kenya, India, and Brazil, we've learned that heeding warnings about these areas are easy ways to stay safe. We hope that future guests don't have a similar experience.

The Double Tree Managua is a good choice for business travellers as well as leisure. The hotel is modern and spotless and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Gabriela, the sales executive, as well as to Lourdes and Yorlin, at the restaurant. You made my stay special. Rooms are up to the Double Tree standard with excellent beds! Note that a/c can be loud. The hotel is big and cold and could do with some "coziness". The lobby reminded me of an hospital.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was much nicer than I expected. The man at the front desk, Eddy Vargas, was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, even the shampoo smelled good. There is an outdoor seating area by the pool with a nice view of the city and lake. Oh, and also the warm chocolate chip cookies were yummy. I would stay here again.

Since the moment i arrived i felt welcome, the staff at the reception area are excellent, very friendly and kind. The breakfast is the best. A lot of different foods. Also the staff is super nice. The room is great, very confortable and super clean, love the housekeepers very kind and friendly. Love the swimming pool area, nice view to the city.

Hotel personnel has a lack of hospitality training. Dont know if the new normal is mediocre service but that seems to be at this property. Room had small roaches. So if Hilton says they are committed to desinfection dur to Covid is more a rhetoric to follow the trend. There should be small roaches in the room.
