Friendly and welcoming service, elegant yet understated interiors, great beds in comfortable rooms, and centrally located in a quiet neighborhood with good restaurants at hand--Hotel Internacional is a winner.

This hotel is about a year old and very well built and maintained. It is exceptionally well located especially if you are coming into Managua from the south, and yet it is only about 25 minutes/$18 taxi from the airport. The owner Roberto and his wife are EXCEPTIONALLY helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help us find...

I was scheduled to be in Nicaragua with two colleagues for two weeks on volunteer assignment, and scheduled to stay in Managua for at least 8 days over two weeks. Don Roberto, the owner and manager of the hotel welcomed us personally, and continued to be attentive and available to us for our entire stay at Hotel Internacional. The atmosphere...

Located near the Hilton and shopping centers with very comfortable well appointed rooms. A desk to work at, large bathroom with hot water shower. The service is very personal and any reasonable request is promptly filled. Several good restaurants in the same block. I'll go back again.

Stayed one night at the Hotel Internacional - a very new and clean hotel with a homey type feel - actually felt more like a B&B with a formal touch! The hotel is totally enclosed with all rooms located inside the facility and open to a large corrider filled with lots of iron work and rocking chair seating areas. Breakfast...

This boutique hotel is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and tidy, offers luxurious linens, very comfortable beds and a great complimentary breakfast! We will recommend it to everyone travelling to Managua. The owner and staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of and felt at home...which we did!

From the moment of arriving to the end of the stay, I was served with utmost respect and personal care in a quiet and extremely clean environment. The owner was anxious to please and serve, even to the extent of personally arranging for informal and formal treatment of a shoulder injury on the bus trip from Estili. My room was...

This charming hotel is run by the Gutierrez, a lovely couple that go out of their way to make you welcome. This new hotel has 22 very clean rooms that include bathrroms with showers, air conditioning, fans, no-fee wireless Internet, and satellite TV. Breakfast is included and we enjoyed fresh juice every morning. Although there is no pool or gardens,...

“this hotel is off the beaten path, not quite to the city center. my cab driver from the hotel had no problem taking me there. i didn't bother with the tourist markets or malls so i can't comment about the proximity. but everything in managua is taxis or walking anyway. i walked to a nearby local restaurant and had cold beer and good food. what else do you need?”

“Rooms away from Road - toward back better. Sandboarding a Volcano is an interesting activity as is visiting a volcano. Getting around is NOT easy if you plan to use maps and directions - you will stay lost for a while. Figure out the lay of the land, have good paper maps and expect people to not know how to tell you where to go. Navigation was complicated. Go to Abuelo's on the Lake of Nicarauga.”
