We arrived as a group of 24 on a Dental Brigade from Canada having completed our mission in the northern part of Nicaragua! I had stayed here on a similar dental brigade 3 years ago, and was not disappointed! The owner remembered me from my last stay, and warmly greeted me! The hotel is very quaint, tastefully elegant, and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable bed, hot showers, A/C, and wifi in the common area. Very nice breakfast with bottled water in the fridge. It is located in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. Found a little something left behind by the cleaning staff, and when brought to the attention of the owner, he offered me anything I wanted from the bar! Management and staff are outstanding, accommodating our large group! I would highly recommend this hotel!

We were recommended this hotel from our hosts in San Juan Del Sur. The room was $69US per night and the value was great. There are several restaurants literally next door to the place and you can walk to the mall and casino. This place was spot clean and the breakfast included is off a menu!

I live in Nicaragua in Leontes and operate a hotel, I appecate a well run hotel....The management has done an excellent job in the design and construction for the guests comfort and wll trained staff.

Bathrooms are modern...Ideal for the business person but also couples ,,,Only a few minutes from major hotels ...parking appears to be limited so you might want to check in advance..

This is where I will stay onmy Managua overnight trips.

I own a condo/hotel in Costa Rica and am listed here on trip advisor and must say im impressed. Everything new and clean, wonderful architecture, friendly staff, flat screen tv, new ductless ac's, non smoking and pristine. Lady working the front desk was attentive and very nice. 2 complimentary bottles of water with no gimmicks to steal money from you. Wireless internet and a walk to many restaurants and main highway in Managua. All this for 65 bucks!

Simple but nice hotel
Well situated and attentive staff
The lack of an air conditioned lounge or meeting area is a negative, otherwise very pleasant.
Breakfast was very good, a perfect start to the day. Very large rooms and comfy bed. Good wifi

I'll be back again in August

This is a quaint hotel nestled in a residential neighborhood bordering the main strip. I booked it due to its close proximity of things. Don William who works the night and morning shift was GREAT! He knows a lot people and can facilitate almost anything for you. I was a bit disappointed in the accommodations but that was of no fault to the staff. The balcony however was a huge plus. If you want to buy cigars, go to Nostalgia de Nicaragua Cigars, 2 blocks away.

My husband decided we would try this new hotel on one of several trips per year to visit his family there in Managua. Located in a relatively safe neighborhood & restaurants within walking distance. Room was very clean and spacious - ours had a nice size balcony to relax outside in evening with paddle fan. They provide a nice Nica breakfast with fresh fruits, cereal and make your own toast. Serve yourself coffee & juices too in a small courtyard. The hotel lacks a pool which is the only real drawback come really hot weather (rooms are air-conditioned thankfully) otherwise we were pleased with the value for our money.

The room itself is excellent with clean, modern facilities, we loved it. However, during our stay, every time we wanted hot shower we had to call reception in advance asking to turn on the boiler for hot water. It ispretty inconvenient for guests. Probably they must save energy, but we were listening background music played in somewhere inside the hotel all day. Breakfast was great. The receptionist tries to be polite and nice, however, in my opinion this hotel lacks of warm, inviting atmosphere. The person who looks like manager just ignore hotel guests, an attitude very different from that of other popular hotels (La Pyramide, etc.). And this hotel is definitely for business people, it means families with young children are not welcome. Ok, it was our fault, but the hotel is lowering price (the ad says $39 a room!). If they want only business people, they should maintain high room price to keep children off.

When I saw this hotel and stepped inside I was pleasantly surprised by how first world nice it was. It was really all in the details. WiFi was really good inside our room and elsewhere. The bathroom was beautiful, clean, and the towels were clean and folded nicely. The beds were comfortable and large, and the TV had every channel of cable. The breakfast was delicious and there was smoothies and fruit too! Seriously the best place we stayed in Nicaragua

Great stay for 1 night in Managua. We had arranged for the Airport Shuttle in advance before our flight, but when we arrived, the driver had misspelled our names and did not know which hotel he was working for. Obviously, this caused a lot of confusion so we took our precautions and called the hotel to confirm the driver. Once checked in, the bed and private balcony in the room was nice and clean. Be sure to take advantage of the great breakfast!

"No pool, my room was huge and there is hot water but throughout NIcaragua water pressure is much lower than typical American households. Le Chateau is of the highest standards you will find in NIcaragua!"
