Our stay in Managua was short and finding rooms at HIE was life saving literally since our friends where we were going to stay came down with COVID a day prior to our arrival. Breakfast was the best I have had in a hotel in a long time. Service was friendly and better than expected. The place was clean and we felt safe all around. The room temperature at time of arrival was high but once the AC kicked in it felt pleasant. We look forward to our next trip to Managua and hopefully will stay at HIE again.

People can book at this hotel, very nice, the rooms are very clean, comfortable beds, nice pool, good breakfast, wi-fi, it has a gym. The price are ok. I recommend Holiday Inn Express Managua, we have a nice hotel in Nicaragua.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good with hot and cold offerings. The pool was nice but chilly (nice to cool off in) with a couple of comfortable lounges and fluffy towels at poolside. Taxi to and from the covid testing site for the results of my mandatory pretravel covid test (the test costs $150) and taxi to the airport in the morning was gratis, included with the room cost. It would have been nice if I had assistance with my luggage from the porter standing at the front door (his loss...I'm a generous tipper). I clearly had more than I could handle by myself. I had to take the trolley that was literally next to him and struggled to get my large bag onto the trolley while the woman at the front desk just watched. Otherwise it was a good stay with a lot of good restaurants within walking distance. ZacateLimon was across the street and excellent! I will stay there again since I travel back and forth to Nica several times a year.…
