had originally booked an apartment in Panama but change at the last minute, wanting a more local experience and something that was close to Allbrook Plaza for transport. From the beginning, my contact with Jacques was great - emails answered promptly, airport transfer organised etc. I arrived in a downpour of torrential rain, but there was Jacques to greet me...

We travel a bit and generally avoid B&Bs. This was our first trip to Panama and we wanted to be close to Albrook airport. This was a great location. We could walk to the top of Ancon hill, see several new birds (including Macaws) from the garden, and enjoy fabulous large breakfasts. Jacques is the most accommodating host we have...

We loved the hotel 2 palmitos in Panama city! It is in a quiet location on the green cerro de Ancón. At breakfast we saw colibríes, parrots, beautiful butterflies and sometimes we could here monkeys in the trees!!! The owner is very friendly and helpful, he prepared wonderful breakfast with a lot of fresh fruit! Taxis to the City centre...

Dos Palmitos is a very nice bed and breakfast (clean & comfortable) and highly recommended for any budget traveler. The rooms are comfortable and have a private toilet and shower. Each room has a TV, AC unit and ceiling fan. Breakfast is huge and terrific with good coffee (not Nescafe). Omar Torrijos boulevard is a 5 min walk with easy...

Dos Palmitos was an excellent choice for the beginning and end of our three week stay in Panama. The Ancon neighborhood is quiet and secure and Jaques' breakfasts of fresh fruit, eggs and toast on the veranda a great way to start the day. We watched gorgeous birds at a feeding station from our breakfast table. He was very helpful...

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at Dos Palmitos on our way into and out of Panama City. The owner, Jaque was wonderfully kind and hospitable, and the rooms and common area were lovely. The location was walking distance (if you like to walk) to Casco Viejo, and a short taxi ride to the Albrook bus terminal. A little...

After being on a sailboat for a week from Cartagena to Panama, we were ready for some peace and quiet. Dos Palmitos was a great choice. It's located in a historic residential neighborhood on Ancon Hill, not too far from the Panama Canal. The home was built in the 20's and the guest rooms are upstairs; the owner, Jacques, lives...

We liked the residential location in the Cerro Ancon area. The breakfasts were definitely below average; the coffee was chewy, and, except for the fresh fruit, the food was pretty bad. The room was clean, but our "king size" bed was two twins pushed together. The AC didn't work right. Our hostess was not very friendly, but she did get...

Our visit to this low key B&B was our 'transition' from "Living in the USA" to a lovely Panama visit. Our hostess, Angie, was supportive and well organized. Everything was flawless.
