La Concordia is the perfect boutique hotel. Just 10 rooms, it is quiet and discreet. Our bedroom was beautifully furnished and even had a chandelier. There is always someone at the front desk and they were very helpful and friendly. The hotel arranged airport transit for us and I strongly recommend you us it inside of the cabs at the airport. There is no regulation of the taxis and some of the drivers are kind of scary looking. I would definitely stay at La Concordia again and will recommend it to friends.
We absolutely loved our stay at La Concordia Boutique Hotel. Everything from the rooms, service, and location was perfect. The rooms were beautifully designed and well appointed (Bose speaker, bathrobes, slippers, Occitane products in the bathroom). The service was beyond our expectations. Everyone was friendly and tried to accommodate our needs right away. Arcelio was amazing! No matter what information we needed, he was able to provide it and if he was not sure, he would research it and give us an immediate response. He provided great food recommendations including places with vegan options. The location of the hotel was excellent. Everything in the Casco Viejo was within walking distance and other city locations were no more than 8 minutes away via Uber. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely stay here again when we come back!…
Our next visit to Panamá City we will definitely stay at La Concordia again. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see in the area. Also great coffee shop next door and roof top restaurant above the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. Looking forward to our next visit.
My husband and I spent 2 nights in Panama City before going to Bocas del Toro for our honneymoon. We found La Concordia Boutique Hotel by accident. Charming hotel located in the middle of Casco Viejo, the old town. We loved everything about it: the comfortable rooms, beautiful decoration, welcoming staff, great food, amazing cocktails in the rooftop and the perfect location. We loved it so much that we decided to stay again in our way back from Bocas del Toro. Really recommended!!
We spent 48 hours in Panama City this week, which included an overnight stay at La Concordia Boutique Hotel. Had we known how much we'd enjoy the area and the hotel, we'd certainly have planned to stay longer. The Hotel is situated in the Casca Viejo neighborhood, where many buildings are being restored and becoming charming hotels, restaurants and shops. La Concordia Boutique Hotel was early to the game, opening this incarnation in 2017 after having been used over the years for a multitude of purposes. It's current use suits the historic building. It's owners have created a welcoming, comfortable space where attention to detail is evident in the aesthetics of the place, as well as in the service. The rooms are well-appointed with interesting artistic flourishes, the bedding is luxurious, the rooms are spacious and the staff are cheerful, approachable, attentive and ready to help with whatever you need. We ate at both the attached coffee shop, as well as the breezy rooftop restaurant where we enjoyed really tasty, Panamanian style cuisine. There's honestly nothing I'd offer in the way of constructive feedback. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certain visit again when in PC.…
We loved staying at La Concordia. Our room was gorgeous and clean. I loved the classic elegance mixed with modern conveniences (great shower, comfy bed) and stylish decor. The rooftop bar is a fun place to hang out and has great views. The staff were lovely and helpful. The location was great -- in a couple minutes we could walk to great restaurants and cafes and all the wonderful sites of the Casco Viejo. I would definitely stay here again.
landed in panama city and spent 2 nights at this wonderful boutique hotel. the room was gorgeous, the bed so comfortable, the bathroom was enormous. we loved our balcony. they have a rooftop restaurant which is great for pre or post dinner cocktails. it can be a bit noisy for sleep wktj street sounds and dj on the roof earplugs are provided on each room. centrally located we could walk to all the great shops and restaurants right outside our door in the best hood in panama city casco viejo. also a coffee shop right downstairs and of course a coffee maker in the room too. we loved this hotel as our first stop.
We stayed here for 2 nights after a cruise to see the old colonial part of Panama City. The hotel is a beautiful, charming colonial period building ideally located in walking distance of all the main sites. The hotel has been restored reflecting the original architecture and is surrounded by other charming colonial buildings. Our room was a suite with two beds, a large sitting area with a very long balcony and a huge bathroom. Beds were comfortable, toiletries provided were high end, L’Occitane products. There is a good, small restaurant in the hotel for a selection of breakfasts and lunch. There is a rooftop bar and restaurant with wonderful views. The staff were extremely helpful before we arrived, answering all questions and setting up shuttles for us as well as an excellent city and canal locks tour with Mr. Pedro Garcia, a very good tour guide. They helped with airline reservations, printed our boarding passes and made sure that we had everything we needed. Ms.Jaen at the front desk was especially helpful before and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again. …
La Concordia is a beautiful hotel that reminds us so much of Italian palazzo hotels we've stayed in. Beautiful high ceilings, lovely tile floors, great linens, very comfortable bed, and a balcony with chairs. The bathroom is giant and luxurious, and the amenities are quite nice. The young people who man the reception desk are wonderful, and very helpful about suggesting where to go and how to get there, as well as offering to order an Uber to get us to the airport. They were terrific. That said, the hotel is in the city, so if you're sensitive to noise, this might not be the place for you. There was occasional music, car stereos playing loudly, people talking, but it really didn't bother us at all. However if you need silence to sleep this is probably not the place for you. But we barely noticed it, since we knew we would be in a city and are used to those incidental sounds. The hotel is located on the last block where buildings have been rehabbed in Casco Viejo, but the area from the hotel down to the heart of CV is extremely safe, with a very large police presence to reassure tourists. It is an extremely safe place to wander around, fine, go to bars, even after dark. We did get lost a block and a half above the hotel, where the area is very low income and has not been rehabbed. But we had no problems there, and people were fairly friendly. I can see that it would not be a place to go after dark, though. But really, you should have no worries about staying at LaConcordia, since it's block is lovely and all the way into the heart of CV there is so much to do and see! Also, one other convenience is that there is a coffee shop attached to the hotel, which has very nice breakfasts and other food. You can even have food delivered up to your room if you ask. When my husband was ill they suggested a terrific soup and delivered it to our room, which really was above and beyond!…
Beautiful hotel with a lot of character and charm. The staff is excellent and so attentive and answered all my questions. I was planning for our party of eight and Arcello was a delight to work with, very much appreciated his recommendations and assistance with our dinner reservations. So glad we decided to stay in the Casco Viejo and that we chose La Concordia. The little perks were amazing too: plush bath robes, Occitane toiletries, cute decor, amazing views from the balconies and an espresso machine. The roof top bar was also wonderful. Thank you for making this trip so memorable for me and my girlfriends.
