A nice hotel in a nice location. Enjoyed my stay. However I left my car keys in the safe and I couldn't get anyone to send them to me. There is a resturant on the first floor There seemed to be several events going on at the hotel.

Before our arrival , I was contacted by Brayan Ortega whom always was eager to please our requests . We decided to be picked up at the airport and our driver, a Cuban guy named Ernesto Lopez was very puntual and professional. He helped us with our luggages and made the driving very pleasant and entertaining . Once we arrived at the very beautiful W Panama we were escorted to the elevators to go to the level where the front desk is located. The process at the Front desk was fast and easy . Elevators run very fast and the hotel has plenty of them . We were assigned to room# 2110, one of the most beautiful views and rooms we have ever enjoyed and seen so far!. Its view of Panama was espectacular and we felt like not going nowhere because of it. We kept its curtains open at all time, day and night. Next day we we went to San Blas tour and when returning we found a birthday cake in our room because of my wife’s anniversary. This was a very nice surprised , by the way. The hotel is very centric and well located, a beautiful tall building with frosted glasses . All staff we encountered were very nice and professional . We had a great time!. Thank you all !!!.

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are as gorgeous as they look in the photos. Most of the employees I encountered were friendly and helpful. The problem is that there is constantly noise. The walls are thin and I wish I had known before booking that this hotel prioritizes hosting parties, loud parties. When there wasn't noise from the room next door, there was music blasting from the poolside deck. I appreciated when the hotel gave a warning that there would be a 5-hour party with DJ and the accompanying noise, and offered the option to change rooms, but I did not appreciate when more than 6 hours later, the music was still blasting and I was told my only option would be to change rooms. If you're going to host a loud party, at least be clear about when it will end so that your guests can plan accordingly. After having unpacked and settled in for the past two nights, changing rooms was not an attractive option. The music eventually stopped, but both the extended period of noise that they did not seem interested in controlling and the apathy from the front desk soured my experience. I would not recommend this property, not would I ever return to a W, since this seems to be the type of branding to which they aspire.

This hotel looks really nice from the pictures...but they're definitely not accurate. The pool is tiny and not heated (which during the heat is fine, but with no sun, it's cold). Many rooms face the pool and they have a DJ going until 1am so it's very loud in the room. The grossest part about this hotel is the lack of cleanliness. We rushed into our room to take quick showers after a long day of travel. We had 30 mins until we needed to leave for dinner reservations. I ran into the shower and noticed tons of hair all along the walls!!! Clearly not cleaned! It was disgusting but unfortunately we had no choice but to shower since we couldn't cancel or postpone our dinner reservations. When we told the front desk, we simply got a "I'm sorry." Nothing was done. I wrote to the manager upon leaving and he gave us 10,000 pts. Nothing else. After paying over $300/night, this was extremely disappointing. If you're fine with a dirty room, stay here! If not, I'd keep looking.

Big beautiful rooms with lots of windows. Décor is a dark club vibe that is familiar to other W hotels. Service very friendly. We had a good afternoon at the pool, the music was a little loud but not too bad.

Had an amazing time at W Panama. People were sooo amazingly friendly, helpful, informative and professional. Also, anything we requested ( towels, amenities etc-- was promptly addressed- never had to call back , wait more than 5 min ..they are extremely attentive). I have NEVER written a hotel review but since our 5 day stay was absolutely EXCELLENT- I was compelled to sing their praises. Ricardo & Julieth ( I believe who were managers) were just 2 of the wonderful staff there. I speak " un poquito Espanol" but they were so warm, embracing and helpful as I butchered their native language LOL (Most of the staff speaks English well enough to effectively communicate-so if you do not know Spanish, no worries). We brought our kids ( ages 11 &14) and they loved being in the pool 24/7- plus the energy of the poolside bar and ambiance is perfecto. If you stay here during your Panama visit, you will not be disappointed. We most definitely will make this our Go To hotel in Panama as we had such a great time and anticipate returning again very soon!

I had a chance to spend two nights in a "Marvelous" corner suite at the W Hotel Panama and definitely enjoyed my stay overall. Clearly, a person should do some research before they stay at a hotel and that's why it shouldn't come as a surprise that the W hotels worldwide are a bit "quirky" in a way that some people might not like--they're meant to be a bit different so I wasn't surprised at all by the sometimes odd choice of colors, or the industrial feel in some areas of the hotel, etc. As a Platinum Bonvoy member I really appreciated the recognition that was given--the very friendly front desk agent had upgraded me to a better category room, and there is also the choice of free breakfast and late check out at 4:00 for Platinum Elites. (Thank you!) The room itself was enormous with outstanding views of the city and even some of the surrounding ocean where you could see the ships coming into the Canal area. The room was very clean, the bed extremely comfortable (surprisingly so!) and there was even a cool bathtub in the corner of the room which I enjoyed using both nights. Air conditioning was adequate. I also used the spa and was very happy with my experience--the prices are pretty reasonable and Bonvoy members can get 20% off their treatments so that made it even better. Wish I had booked a longer massage! The pool was a bit on the small size unfortunately and there was usually quite a few people around so I didn't really get a chance to hang around there. The main reason I don't think I can give this hotel a "5 star rating" is that unfortunately, the breakfast buffet is pretty lousy--poor selection of items, frequently very picked-over and not replenished, and ends at 10:30 a.m. (Although the bigger issue is the quality/selection/availability of the food.) For example, both days the "pancakes" that they had were ice cold. Out of orange juice the second day. Nothing other than just coffee or tea available--ie. no lattes or cappuccinos. I'm glad it was included as a Platinum Elite member because otherwise it's $32/per person which would leave me pretty upset if I had paid that much for such a poor selection of food. Lastly, there isn't any regular restaurant in the hotel available for lunch or dinner. They have a bar area that I guess has food but it's not a restaurant nor is there adequate seating. They also have room service but still--if you're advertising yourself as a five star hotel you should probably keep your hotel open for both lunch and dinner service every day. (They did have the restaurant open once in a while for a "night brunch" but that's not the same thing as a regular lunch or dinner service.) So basically you need to go outside the hotel to have dinner. So all in all a good hotel, quirky as a "W" normally is and with some good strengths. Also definitely room to improve as I'd consider this more of a 4.5 star hotel than a true 5 star hotel. Please keep those points in mind if you're considering a visit.

Overall, excellent experience. Airport-hotel transport was punctual. "Brayam" and Angelo had fantastic customer service skills, spoke English well, and the the check-in and check-out were quite efficient with them. Breakfast was wonderful and there is a splendid French cafe on the ground level that was enjoyable, too. The room service guy remembered us from my last stay a few months back, which impressed me. If I had to mention something to improve upon, the shower was a little slow to drain and the room configuration could improve; on one of the days, the lady server at "Moro" was a little lax on attention and told us that it was children 11 and under who did not pay for breakfast even though the hotel had told me it was 12 and under, but overall, it was a great stay. Central location, too.

First time at a W hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday. This celebration was not acknowledged nor by Marriott status. Indifferent checking and rude check out. We booked a corner suite. The room was large and I enjoyed the deep soaking bath tub. The steps in the room make this room challenging for us with an 18 month old who wants to climb everything. Not sure who the customer base is, but the 24 hour pool which stank of marijuana, appeared to be cottaging site for gay men and possible drug/girl running venue. Funny to watch 🤣 but not family friendly. Also the pool area is tiny, loud and freezing water. It all just felt tacky not hip and stylish a disappointment. I used the spa twice, pleasant and professional staff but the treatments were nothing special. Wouldn't return

This hotel is in a horrible location surrounded by abandoned buildings. The staff is not helpful and service is very slow. Every day our keys need to be replaced. The Wi-Fi is super slow as is everything else in the hotel. Very disappointing. Try another hotel - there are so many better options.
