We stayed for 2 nights with my family of 4 in 2 bungalows and we enjoyed very much the beautiful area and the monkeys saying hello and following you while walking on the path. As long as you have a car, the location is very good to visit the canal, the city or to go to the west side of... More

I was working in Panama and wanted to spend my last night near the Soberania Park and the Pipeline - a must for birders. This place was recommended by some locals working with me. When I phoned the owner I was told it was nearby. The rooms/chalets are very pleasant, clean and fairly typical of their type. Weak shower but... More

This place is about 45 mins out of Panama, situated in the countryside/ jungle. Its a family run concern that offers a step up from a back packer place without becoming a corporate owned -all inclusive. The gardens really are beautiful with a pool surrounded by lush jungle plants and flowers. The accomodation is in the form of little chalets... More

The Bungalows are furnished very beautifully and pretty and are in good shape. The flowergarden is gorgeous, the pool is clean and lovely with a lot of places to relax, like hammocks and deck chairs. The Food is wonderful and the dinner definitely worth its money. Our highlight was the private Canal Tour all day.We really enjoyed the lunch, including Abuelo,... More

We went here last November with our then-seven year old, who still talks frequently about "Mr. Fabrice" and how awesome the experience was. No hyperbole---that week fundamentally impacted our son so positively that he may never stop talking about it. Fabrice met us at the airport and took us to the property, which is quite a drive away. Set outside... More

I want to start off by stating that we did not stay here overnight; however, my husband and I took tours to Gatun Lake and Isla Granda with Fabrice, which we enjoyed very much. Fabrice was fun and hospitable, and even invited us to spend some time at the lodge after the tour visiting with him and the monkeys. His... More

We wanted a jungle feeling stay: Not so Traffic noise from the freeway below is loud. Signage to the property is hard to see (It does not help to get no answer from multiple calls), Once in the property, we felt marooned behind a locked gate. Did not like that we could not go outside if we wanted to try... More

If you want to stay at a very simple but for Panama very expensive b & b net to the highway then this is a solution. The owner only wants to get your money by tours and expensive drinks and does not allow you to bring your own drinks to your cabine. The garden is a mess and the monkeys... More

Wouaouh!!! I don't know what's going on, but writing something like that is very not constructive for the other guest, falsehood never serve nobody, I don't know why you are so bad to tell first the garden is mess when every body said is a paradise, why you write the monkeys are in the cage when they are 2000 M2... The focus of our trip to Panama was 3 weeks of Spanish immersion school for the family in Boquete and Boca del Toro. My husband had to leave earlier, and I booked our final night before flying out of Panama City with my teenage boys at the Monkey Lodge. Our three weeks had been very full of action, study, decisions,... More

We stayed here previously 2 years ago. The thing that has changed is that sadly but probably inevitably the monkeys no longer roam free. It is a lovely oasis on a wooded hill, close to the road network, so you hear the traffic quite often, but it is a lovely setting and there's quite a bit of birdlife. The pool... More
