Great location in Casco Viejo surrounded by many restaurants. Very lively on the weekends but quiet inside the room. The short narrow street is blocked for only pedestrians every evening. Our taxi stopped some ways away from the hotel due to Friday evening traffic. We stayed in family room with 2 Queens. Very comfortable beds. Bathroom was spacious with good toiletries. Reception staff was very friendly and shared maps and information on the area. They stored our luggage and offered the use of a bathroom (with shower) on our last day (flight was later in the evening). It was great value for what we paid!

Location was fabulous, price was great. Room was clean and comfy. Wifi was everything I needed. They had a kitchen available that I didn't use so can't really comment on that. I had no concerns at all for my stay, it hit all the tick boxes for a great hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Magnolia. Returning to this site to write the review, I see that the photos look exactly like the property and that is rarely the case. The grand room is really beautiful and a very nice place to have a coffee, rest, read, sit out on the balcony, or just escape from the very busy Casco Viejo. Our room also looked just like the one in the photos. The renovation has made for a beautiful and very comfortable space. The staff was excellent. Shout out to Joseph who really helped us with anything that we needed. We enjoyed visiting with him, he is such a pleasure to be around. Staying at the Casa Magnolia had us feeling like we were staying with family.

The Inn has been updated & the rooms are quite nice & clean. Staff was very helpful. Great location. Does not have a dining area but has a discount at nearby hotel. Try to get a suite as they are not much more.

There is something to be said about a hotel that thinks of everything. First, this is a hotel/hostel combo and not only is it in the perfect location for all the most awesome of restaurants and bar in casco Viejo but it is also super clean and very convenient and comfortable and the staff ( super friendly dude with tattoos) is always happy to help. This is my second time staying here and room 17 is theee biznizz yall. The shower alone! The soft Clean soft bed and sheets. Even the hostel side seems pretty cool and I think my eye spied balcony’s too! What a absolutely wonderful place.

Loved staying here in the heart of the old town. Had a private room and enjoyed walking from the front door to all areas of Casco Viejo to take in the wonderful sites and restaurants. Ample facilities and great staff made my stay delightful.

I booked a “Penthouse Suite” on Booking.com. It is a decent, standard room, not exactly a suite. On the description it also says “soundproof.” Unfortunately, they have a serious noise issue. On a Wednesday night, it was incredibly loud in the room until around 2:30 am, when I finally managed to fall asleep. I have been visiting Casco for many years, and I know it is a noisy place, but this was the worst I have ever experienced. It was even worse than in Selina’s rooms directly under their bar. The only worse sound experience I’ve had was in the old Luna’s Castle dungeon rooms above their Relic bar. I explained my issue to the management, and was disappointed when they refused to allow me to cancel my next night. As someone in the hospitality sector, I understand non-refundable rates are non-refundable. But when a guest has such a bad experience and decides to leave early, it’s usually a good idea to make exception. Not doing so exposes your priorities. In the world of hospitality, when management so plainly chooses profit over guest satisfaction, that is a big red flag.

Was my worse experience. They sell you 12 beds dorm but in the room there was 14 beds like a low level hospital. I feel like i am in ww2 hospital. Everybody was sleeping in the shared area because of the room condition. Can't even breath. Noise outside. And their solution was giving you private fan. Terrible terrible...noise smell dirt all inclusive.

This place is wonderful! Great location, clean, reasonably priced. The staff is AWESOME! The manager, Emmanuele, saved us from a horrible hotel a few blocks over. He made us feel welcome and safe at Magnolia. Vicky, at check in, is dynamic and energetic. She gave great advice for activities, transport to the airport and a cool restaurant right around the corner, Tantalo. We went there frequently. Lots of restaurants w/i walking distance. Joseph, at the front desk, welcomed us every day, patiently encouraged us with our beginner Spanish, facilitated transportation to museums, laughed with us, and he was just an all around good guy. He made us feel special, though my sister and I were just 2 of dozens of guests. He made our stay easy, and extra fun. We would definitely stay at Magnolia Hotel again.

Magnolia Inn is a combination of hostel and hotel. We booked two rooms in the lower level with great AC and private bathrooms. The rooms are basic and comfortable and provide you with everything you need. There is a shared kitchen and fridge so you can get a cup of coffee or store your food and drinks. The location of Magnolia Inn is ideal! Located in the heart of the old city, right next to Plaza Mayor, it is walking distance to all the sites! The best part was the staff. Eduardo, Simon and Vicki made our stay so memorable. They were awesome. I would definitely recommend seeing here.
