We have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past year. Each time has been excellent. Very good service from all employees we met who seem to genuinely want to make sure your stay is going well. Excellent Platinum recognition and appreciation from the front desk! Great club lounge and food offerings for breakfast and evening. Front door greeters and bellman always wearing suits giving the hotel a first class impression. Very nice lobby area. Great gym/health club with exercise/spinning classes. Excellent internet coverage, clean comfortable rooms. Overall very comfortable clean safe hotel in a convenient location with 5 star service which has shines on each of our 4 stays. Would definitely return!

The hotel grounds are nice, admittedly I didn't get to see it all. Only had breakfast buffet there (which was really good with great variety). As for the room, clean, service every morning with room cleaned, beds made, etc...replacement of towels a little lacking.
Some issues for the room that need some attention, the bathroom doesn't have any exhaust fan. There is no mirror in the bedroom, so if someone is using the bathroom and another wants to get ready in the room, no mirror. Bathroom for standard rooms is pretty small. Had to request more items (shampoo, etc as only had one bottle). The hairdryer is pitiful, super weak and takes forever to dry your hair.
Front desk was super confused on how to properly split the bill for us on business sharing a room. Took a long time and they still didn't figure it out properly. That said, the lady working evenings at desk was super nice and helpful.
Another thing- carry some small first aid items for your guests like bandaids since there is no store in resort for this kind of thing.
Overall, good stay, quiet hotel with good service, just needs a few improvements. Would stay again though.

Room was fine but attitude of staff was not good. It’s a resort and pool and spa should not close at 8 pm. Guests come back from a days outing and look forward to using the pool and spa and they should be open till 11 pm at least.

No kettle in the room, you have to call room service for hot water. There was a coffee machine in the room, and coffee grounds, but no filter, again, you have to call room service. As there was no daily housekeeping due to covid, once you ran out of tea bags, or coffee, or coffee filters, you had to ring up room service for more, and they only bought one, even if you asked them for more, which meant if you drink tea or coffee 2-3 times a day like I do, you're making multiple calls for a tea bag or coffee grounds.
You could request housekeeping each day, however, when we requested them, they didn't clean the room, just the bathroom. The room was not vacuumed, and the sheets were not changed. I raised this with the manager, and he said it was a new Marriot corporate policy!
Next, don't believe what you read on the website about the amenities the hotel offers. The website is not kept up to date with changes the hotel is required to implement due to covid lockdowns. I raised a complaint with the manager that the website is misleading. At first he said the virus restrictions are fast moving, and they cannot keep up with the changes, to which I countered the gym had been closed for 4 weeks - more than enough time to update the website. To be more specific, I searched on the Marriott website and filtered for hotels that had a gym. The manager then said the website was not wrong, the hotel did have a gym, just that I was not allowed to use it. No apology, no concession, no nothing.
Lastly, while the hotel normally has a selection of restaurants, due to pandemic restrictions, only one was open, and that was serving a reduced menu. Food was overpriced, I highly recommend downloading a delivery app and ordering out. If you have any kind of dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian), your choices off the menu are going to be between salad A and salad B. Breakfast was ok, though they didn't have any cereals on offer.

Second stay at a Marriott property in the last week. Both cases were definitely below standard. At the Sheraton when we first checked in, I was not offered the usual option of points or a gift. I had to mention it to the agent at check. Even though the occupancy rate of the hotel was very low I was not offered the usual upgrade. The first room assigned was next to the elevator. After requesting another room I was assigned a room further away for privacy and quiet. There were no washcloths in the bathroom. I requested two times by phone and the third time went down to the front desk and requested. Never did receive them. The toilet in the bathroom would continually run after flushing and I had to remove the top of the tank to reseat the flapper valve every time. The wifi was marginal and has no security password required is required to access. We went down to have something to eat in the hotel restaurant. The table we were assigned was not clean. There were only 3-4 people in the whole restaurant. The food marginal. My wife had a glass of wine that tasted like grape juice. Later that evening she did not feel well and had gastric distress for 2-3 days. I imagine the response I will get is it is due to COVID. The staff in general are not motivated to provide service. I could go on, but I think you get the picture of the situation in this hotel. Would not stay here again. The stay I had at the Marriott in the Villages prior to this one was worse.

Loved everything about my stay here. Room is fully cleaned and restocked daily. Wifi always works as does everything else in the room. Staff are very efficient. Ney at the front desk is always willing to help, thank you Ney! Breakfast is amazing, and there are many stores and restaurants in the hotel to spend time in. There's a grocery store across the street and every floor has a huge freezer of ready-to-go bags of ice that slip perfectly into the ice bucket in the room. The pool area is gorgeous and has shaded areas perfect for hot weather. On levels L and S there are many nooks, each decorated differently, with lots of places to just rest, sit, read a book, wait for friends, sip coffee, etc. Easy taxis and tours to anywhere in town. I felt very safe, relaxed and well taken care of here.

We were flying out from Tocuman and this hotel was a perfect place. It was during the coronovirus and we werre treated to an amazing breakfast buffet, and the night before we orded room service and it was great! The staff at this hotel was extremely accomodating and wonderful in every way.
The building is a little dated, but spotlesly clean and very and comfortable!
When we entered our room, we were treated to a plate of fine chocolates. We had the conciege set up a taxi to the airport and the driver was immaculate, fair priced and extremely professional! The conciege was absolutely wonderful!!!!!

It is Sunday morning on January 12th. I was awakened by loud music at 4am. It is now 450. I called the hotel to ask them to turn it down. I am staying ACROSS THE STREET. I was told it is for a wedding, and maybe it will end soon. That is all. Why is it acceptable to wake a street up at 4am for a wedding?? On a Sunday??? This is unacceptable and Sheraton should be ashamed of themselves for being disrespectful of others' sleep.

We spent a week at the Sheraton Grand Panama and we didn't want to leave. The room is spacious and has lots of storage is you want to unpack. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Joseph the concierge was very helpful in connecting us with tour providers and services near the hotel. He was our go-to guy. Every day we looked forward to the hotel's breakfast as they have a wide variety of food, an omelet chef and the hot dishes change daily. The hotel restaurant, Las Hadas, has very good food too at an affordable price (loved the Tortilla Soup). When we weren't going on day trips we spent a lot of time in the pool, jacuzzi (for one person), steam room and sauna. Everything is so clean and the hotel staff is very friendly (speaking Spanish helps though). We were there in low season so they were probably more relaxed. The Sheraton is located 15 minutes from Tocumen Airport and 15 minutes from Casco Viejo by Uber so it is well located if you're a tourist. Within a 5 minute walking distance are Jimmy Paridilla and Roadster's Diner, two good family-style restaurants. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is a 10 minute walk away if you like premium coffee.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff is not really friendly or accommodating. I booked the at the Executive floor to have access to the Club Lounge but upon arrival I was informed that the lounge is closed Friday and Saturday (that was not informed when I book in their website) The quality of the breakfast was poor at not at the international level of other Sheraton properties.

It's probably 30-45 minutes away. We were there for a wedding so they had hired a van to take us. You could probably do uber as well.
