We spent 2 nights after arrival to Panama to visit the Citi and Panama Channel. Costs of taxi from airport 25$. You can negotiate lower price but after 12 hours in the plane it is hard. Localization is good. Close to hotel you have shopping center so you can buy something for your trip. It is 45 minutes walk to the old city. From hotel for 15$ you can order the taxi the Panama Channel Miraflores Lock and Museum. We booked the room for 3 persons. The bed for 3rd person was really terrible. I would not recommend it. Breakfast was OK however coffee was served only after 30 minutes.

Good value for the money in an expensive city. Could definitely do with an upgrade but good enough for what I needed.
I stayed here on 2 seperate occasions in Jan 2020.
Located on the financial district, it's a stones throw from the British and German Embassies, in a safe area close to restaurants and fast food chains.
Its a good hour walk into Casco Antiguo (for me at least!), orĀ just 10 mins in an uber.
The pool area is small and seems to be inundated with non residents on day passes at times.
I never had breakfast but did have a nice evening meal in the restaurant.

The property usted to be confortable and quite luxurie. Not today. It needs maintenaince, renewing rooms forniture, and improve the pool area. They rents saloons for conventions or prĆvate parties and people who attend those meetings have acces to the pool, which turns the pool into a mess.

By far the worst hotel for the money! Molded walls, horrible service, unfriendly staff, extremely unmaintained! Many hotels in panama offer better service for less and the service here is the worst Iāve experienced of my trips to panama. Rooms are extremely outdated with antique furnishings, the elevators close within 3 seconds and came verrrrryyyyu close to hitting my 6 month old in the head as her mom stepped out, they tell us 25 minutes for food every time we order but it takes 1hr plus. You call the front desk for anything thereās never an answer, workers are dressed in plain clothes so you donāt know who is who, they had a wedding outside which is great for the people getting married by the pool but they removed all canopies for shade from other guests who paid to stay and all seating was taken so we had to sit on hard concrete, no ice machines, and when we ask the bartender or restaurant for ice they say there is none so we had to buy ice from a market down the street, then to top it off some random person who I still do not know who he was tells me I canāt drink my beer in the restaurant after the worker tells me 30 min for pizza at 10pm when nobody is eating and they are walking around doing nothing. He makes a scene and throws his hands in the air signifying āyour a nobodyā while he eats his food but we have to wait 30 min for a personal pizza. My mom ordered spaghetti and they say 25 min, but 45 min still hasnāt came. 1 hour 30 min later it comes to the room because she leaves the restaurant and tired of waiting. This is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered at any hotel out of all my travels in Panama and i would not recommended this place to a person even if they gave nights for free! Iām am beyond disturbed about this service, environment, and people that work here! HORRIBLE!!!! Housekeeping is amazing people but everyone else should be ashamed of themselves for the service offered. I never write reviews but this place needs to be put on blast and guests need to know thereās MANY places better than this and I highly recommend never to book this!!!! Also, we needed to get our keys reprogrammed at least 10 times in 4 days because they didnāt work - pick something else!!

Not a 4 star hotel. The hotel is nice but needs work. So much effort into the lobby and thats about it. Painting of the exterior and the pool area needed, a working gym is needed as the pictures of the gym shown is not what the gym looks like. Location is good. Room was ok. Started with 5 different sized towels and when house keeping came left me with just two. Did not fill the toilet paper. Two paper flat pillows called for two more twice and was never given the additional nor was a call back given to our room. I had to go get it myself. I called twice for pool towels and was told there was none. Another person asked a person who worked there and he returned with 8 towels and they were given to people lounging on chairs and none to the people actually in the pool. Alot of bird feces around the pool area also. When my spouse brought these things to the attention of the front desk she was given a mediocre response. I then went and gave the same complaints. I was given a late check out as compensation. No one at the pool bar, no one at the lobby bar. No microwave, no refrigerator, had to get my own ice. No coffee maker/tea or water. I asked for hot water for tea and was literally given a small cup of hot water. An iron holder but no iron. No blow dryer. All basic "4 star hotel amenities". Breakfast was apart of our stay and was closely monitored to the point where I had to ask for a bit more to equal a regular sized portion of eggs as I was served the portion an 8 year old would eat. The only truly pleasant people who work there were house keeping that said hi when you passed by them.

1) First 3 nights, pool was closed for renovation. Reception said "No pool available". Only this, I thought, the pool was completely closed. On the forth day, I saw, guests were swimming. I asked the reception. "Yes, you can swim". Why the reception could not inform us only 3 days closed? 2) No towel after cleaning. Also first 3 nights. I thought that the clean team forgot to leave it, but it was not forgetting, but not ready. Towels were delivered around 19:00 first 3 nights. I called the reception every night and they said "We inform the responsible staff" and waited for hours. Why reception didn't answer "Towels will be delivered around 19:00 today" or advised us for delay delivering in advance? Then I didn't have to call the reception every day. Anyway, I had to wait to take shower till 19:00. Outside was 30degrees, and I wanted to take a shower immediately. 3) Weak WIFI. WIFI at Reception was with 96 Mbps, however, room at the door was 14 Mbps and at bed, no signal anymore. At desk also 2 Mbps or no signal. It's impossible to watch streaming like Netflix or web meeting. Also no smart TV. 4) My room card key was invalided every day. I had to go to the reception after back to the hotel (Elevator works with valid room card key). If no guests are at the reception, it takes soon, but one day, big group was there, and I had to wait more than 10min or more. I had a take away food, and it was no more warm when I was back to the room. 5) They asked me an advance payment even flex rate booking. They need cash? 6) No refrigerator in a room.

Very friendly. Clean. Towels weee not an issue. Guests were not an issue. I have no idea what the bad reviews are but maybe it was an off day. The carpet could be changed in the rooms but they werenāt gross by any means. Close to town. Uber is $3. $5 to Amador causeway. Nice restaurants and bars close by.

When we get into room we only found there is only 1 facial towel in the bath room. Bath towel, glasses ,coffee machine, toiletries , hair dryer . all are unavailable. We cannot found the phone # to dial to the front desk. And I have to go down to the lobby to get all the stuffs. But they said that the hair dryer is not available because there was almost full house the day.This is a ridiculous 4 stars hotel. The bath towels are very old . the edge of the towels are spreading out. The breakfast is poor. Only scramble egg, sausage ,local deep fried stuff, some cheese and cold cut ,white and brown bread , milk and corn flakes, 2 bowls of fresh fruit. Choice are very limited . Bed bugs on bed. My wife got bitten . Don|āt choose this so called 4 stars hotel.

I wish I read more reviews. I can't believe anyone had a good experience here. This hotel smells horrible the minute you walk in. The rooms are WORSE! The rooms are carpeted with very old, worn carpet. No doubt molded. My ears and throat became scratchy after being in the room 10 minutes. The shower/tub was stained and the shower curtain liner had black stains splattered on it. The hotel is severely old, but you can't clean a plastic shower curtain? The grout in the bathroom is molded as well. I stay in many hotels in the Panama City area and this is unfortunately the worst. The photos don't show the dilapidation, wear, rust etc. I'm severely disappointed.

Big room, but smelly due to humidity. The AC couldnāt be set on higher temperature, so we had to freeze at 18 degrees Celcius. The pool is not too big and not too clean. The breaksfast was good, with vegetables & fruits, and other options for europeans.

HI, The Hotel does did not offer hotel/airport transfers when i was there (Oct. 2016). I paid $30 for a taxi from the airport to the hotel . This is the going rate from what I discovered. Maybe check with the Hotel to confirm they are not offering shuttle service...Good luck
