I found Melanie and Jose's Waki House the day I was leaving Maimi headed for Panama. Melanie was extremely helpful in making sure I could find their location-which was great considering I was a young woman traveling in Panama for the first time, alone. She even stayed up until 3am when I arrived! I had the 'Mediterranean Room' with a...

my only regret is that i only booked 2 night here. a warm welcome, with a personal pick up service from the airport, an easy check in and a spacious comfortable room. Melanie and Jose are lovely people and helped with any question I had. big thumbs up!

I stayed here for three nights, traveking alone. The place is great, owners/staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is not so great, far away from the city center and shopping plazas. However nice, safe neighborhood, walking distance to via España (where you get taxis and buses), and short cab ride to multiplaza($3-$4, 5-10 minutes). Highly recommend it!!

Waki house guest house is clean and very comfortable. Rooms are spacious and are equipped with WiFi and cable TV. I stayed in the Moroccan themed room which not only is tastefully decorated but also has a beautiful balcony with hammock and air con. Located in a nice residential area and approximately 10 minutes walk from a main shopping area...

I absolutely LOVED this bed and breakfast! The owners Melania and her husband are AWESOME! They make you feel right at home. Breakfast is included but they also shared other meals with me and gave me a tour of all of the different themed rooms (my room was mediterranean theme). This is a new B&B (opened about 2 months ago)...

Clean, beautifully decorated bed and breakfast. The couple who own and run the place were very friendly and accommodating. We had a nice breakfast. (On the first morning my wife asked if they had herbal tea. They did not have any, but bought a box and offered her several tea bags for our trip!) In a quiet neighborhood with convenient...

I spent about 4 weeks at Waki House totally agree with every positive aspects mentioned in earlier reviews: safe and nice neighbourhood with the beautiful "Parque Benito Juarez" and one of the best pastry shops in town ("Panaderia Noel") around the corner, individually and tastefully designed rooms, great social area, nice site with a lot of green and much more!...

My wife and I stayed for seven nights and enjoyed it immensely. The room was spotless and upkeep was perfect. The Hostel is in a good location to see the sights but was not on the main roads. Melanie and Jose are a great couple and were very helpful in pointing out some sights and giving advice. We enjoyed staying...

Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood just outside Panama City´s busy center, Waki House only recently opened its doors and is a great place to stay.
