This is an older property- it was a small room but well maintained and certainly clean. The staff is friendly and competent. Breakfast was adequate for the times - helpful lady manned the stations. In a town without a lot of choice- this fit the bill for us.
Very clean rooms, very nice staff - everywhere we went in the building. Breakfast was ok as a hotel breakfast. The location is also perfect. It was also quiet so we slept very well. We will plan to stay here in the future.
Was doing some traveling and stayed here two nights....Room was very clean and everything was perfect....very quiet too...parking was good.....small breakfast in am starting at 6:30 or 7 am...Check in was easy and checkout was contactless.....
I work with Road Trip Home Animal Rescue from Acworth, GA. We rescue and transport companion animals to Massachusetts and Maine for adoption, making the 3,000+ mile drive a minimum of twice per month. We typically stay one night in Maine before driving back to Georgia. Whether our final stop is in Augusta, Camden, or Bangor, we make the drive back to stay at the Augusta Fairfield Inn. We do so because we trust the staff to provide a safe and clean environment, especially during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Their safety and cleaning protocol are exemplary. Thus past December and February, during extreme weather, we had mechanical issues with our 2018 Ford van and had to stay additional days while we made arrangements for repairs and waited for parts. I can't begin to say how helpful and supportive the hotel management and staff were while we were stranded. It only served to add another entry to the already long list of reasons we go out of our way to stay at the Augusta Fairfield Inn and plan to continue doing so.…
The pictures looked great, it was convenient to get to and very clean. However i had 2 issues with the hotel. I had a reservation and requested top floor but they gave me first floor. At that point you would think they would upgrade me to a room being a frequent marriot customer. I gave up even willing to pay for an upgrade to get off the 1st floor and and settled in. When i sat on the bed i sunk. Let me tell you i have not slept om a surface this bad since i went camping and my air mattress broke. Worst sleep ever and a sore back to show for it.
This is a very good hotel. It’s clean, it has a nice pool, the staff are very friendly, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is good, and it’s pretty well located. It’s a good value for the price. It hits all the bases.
Love this hotel when I come to Augusta to work on legislative issues at the Capitol. It's far enough off the interstate that you don't hear any traffic and the people who work there are very friendly. I've stayed here 6 times over the last three years and every stay was consistently good. THAT's why I keep coming back and choose Marriott hotels. I'll be back.
We’ve stayed here several times over the last several years and find its consistency to be commendable! The rooms are clean and have most of the amenities you need away from home. My only tip would be to stay on the top floor so you don’t have the noise above you at night. Great breakfast set up and convenient to the turnpike and the rest of town.
I really recommend this hotel. I have travel around the world and this is really one of my favorite hotels. Even there is not much to do in Augusta, every time I have to travel to there I look forward to do it to see my family and to stay in this Marriott. The hotel is always clean, still smells like new, but must important the management and staff are incredible. They really make you feel at home.
Typical Fairfield Inn. Good front counter staff, clean room too. Bed had seen better days, however. Too bad they couldn't get our wake-up call done either. Breakfast was pretty good too. Overall, an average place to stay.
