We booked our room at Chez Amis during Plebe Parent's weekend at USNA. We wanted a home away from home environment were we could spent quality time with our son during his free time. It was the perfect choice for many reasons. First, Elly and Joe the innkeepers are remarkable hosts. They went out of their way to ensure we...

Charming place; great location; helpful owners. Chez Amis has it all. We liked the room - quiet and roomy. The bathroom was packed with convenient details - just like your bathroom at home. Breakfast was yummy. The company was delightful - three older couples, like us, and a young couple. Three anniversaries - 35 (us), 12 and 3.

Took a weekend trip with the girlfriend to Annapolis, and chose the State House Room at Chez Amis, just a few minutes walk from pretty much everything in historic Annapolis. The innkeeper, Elly, is very friendly and helpful, and the house dog, Maggie, has the softest fur of any dog I've ever met! The room was spacious, comfortable, and immaculately...

My wife and I were recently married and wanted to take a quick getaway to celebrate. We have plans to go to the Carribean in the winter but decided we also needed to go away for a few days somewhere close to just to unwind. We settled on the Annapolis area and struck gold when we decided on Chez Amis....

Great location, very close to the harbor and many historical sites. Elly is very welcoming and her breakfasts were amazing! Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Annapolis. Thanks Elly for making our first visit to Annapolis a great time.

My husband and I had a very relaxing 2 day "baby moon" stay. The accommodations were wonderful as you were steps away from delicious restaurants and the dock. We received great advice from Elly and Joe as to where to go to eat and travel. We booked a fantastic historical tour through them as well. Breakfast was delicious and the...

We needed a getaway and this was a relaxing and fun weekend retreat. The B&B was lovely and our hostess/host were wonderful. They provided historical information and a very comfortable atmosphere throughout. Very well decorated and the perfect location in historic Annapolis with just a short walk to anything you wanted. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, and clean, and...

Okay, maybe not quite perfect, but the only improvement I can come up with is that I'd like a better pillow. Other than that, a wonderful B&B. Great location right in the heart of historic Annapolis, just steps from everything. But still very quiet. Lovely helpful unobtrusive host, Elly. Discounted parking in the public lot a few minutes' walk away....

Our first visit to Annapolis was made even more special by our stay at Chez Amis. Elly did everything to make us welcome. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to the Naval Academy, waterfront, shopping & restaurants. Breakfast was fabulous and nice to share with the other guests. This is a B&B...

What a nice B & B! Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, and delicious 3-course breakfast. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Excellent all around stay. I would come stay with Chez Amis again and recommend it highly. Loved the chocolates, and mints in the room. I'm not sure that the Inn Keeper does this for everyone, but after hearing that...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Chez Amis" in French means "Among Friends". Come share a day, weekend or week with us and enjoy the state capitol of Maryland and all it has to offer. Our 4 bedroom Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of historic Annapolis, Maryland and is nearby the State Capitol, St. John's College, the waterfront, city dock, the Naval Academy, antique shops and fabulous dining and entertainment places all within walking distance.Find comfort and old fashioned relaxation at Chez Amis. Since each guest room has a private TV, the French country styled common area is designed for reading, conversation, and playing many games of your choice. Bananagrams and scrabble seem to be our guests’ favorite. Refreshments and homemade cookies are available throughout your stay so we understand if you ‘sneak downstairs’ for just one last cookie. The dining area is a wonderful piece of carpentry that was built by the previous inn owner. It comfortably fits our guests but we also offer supplemental seating if you choose a more intimate table. ... more   less
