From the moment we walked in we were at home. Clean, friendly, welcoming and attentive. We were in town for a wedding and setting up and prepping for the wedding was stressful and hectic, but we were pampered and taken care of in our B&B! Centrally located, quiet and very peaceful. There are not enough gushing words to describe our... More

I was taking my daughter to the Naval Academy for a summer camp and wanted to stay close to campus. Wow! What a great location. Right in the middle of everything. I didn't need a car. I stayed in the "Library" and loved it. It was very clean and super cute! I loved the history of the area. Chez Amis... More

My husband and I just returned from 2 days in Annapolis. This was our second time to stay at this B&B. If you want a clean and well run B&B this is the place for you. Elly the owner is so nice and can't do enough for you to make you stay 100% perfect. Breakfast is really good and the... More

This is a little gem of a place in a quite backwater of Annapolis but very close to the centre of the action - marina and restaurants. We arrived early as we had escaped Ocean City before a big parade (Ravens) and the owners Joe and Elly sorted us out which meant that we could get as much sightseeing in... More

Quaint and historic B&B conveniently located within walking distance to all shops, restaurants, and activities. Exceptionally clean. Yummy three course breakfast, family-style, with accommodations for special dietary needs. In-keepers are very attentive and go out of their way to make the stay memorable, with even providing a special flower display upon finding out our trip was for an anniversary celebration.

Chez Amis is a wonderful, quaint bed and breakfast in a great location in downtown Annapolis. We were able to walk to dinner, ice cream, and the waterfront within 5 minutes. Elle, the owner was very friendly. We stayed in the Law Library, which was pleasantly cozy. Elle even mailed us a garment that my wife left in the room.... More

Charming B&B in the heart of Annapolis, we loved it! As a wedding gift from my parents, my wife and I were given a weekend's stay at Chez Amis. Annapolis is a short jaunt from where we live in Arlington and Chez Amis offered the rest and relaxation we were looking for. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Elly,... More

My adult daughter and I spent a relaxing evening at Chez Amis during our one night stop over in Annapolis on our way to Newport RI. I had stayed at this bed and breakfast 8 years ago with my husband when there were different owners and had a great experience then, and a great experience with the new owners Elly... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here February last year. We took the recommendation of the hosts for a good spot for lunch. We had an amazing lunch and afterwards, on a walk down by the water, my girlfriend became my fiance. The next day we had an amazing breakfast waiting for us downstairs. I HIGHLY recommend Chez Amis and can't... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Chez Amis" in French means "Among Friends". Come share a day, weekend or week with us and enjoy the state capitol of Maryland and all it has to offer. Our 4 bedroom Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of historic Annapolis, Maryland and is nearby the State Capitol, St. John's College, the waterfront, city dock, the Naval Academy, antique shops and fabulous dining and entertainment places all within walking distance.Find comfort and old fashioned relaxation at Chez Amis. Since each guest room has a private TV, the French country styled common area is designed for reading, conversation, and playing many games of your choice. Bananagrams and scrabble seem to be our guests’ favorite. Refreshments and homemade cookies are available throughout your stay so we understand if you ‘sneak downstairs’ for just one last cookie. The dining area is a wonderful piece of carpentry that was built by the previous inn owner. It comfortably fits our guests but we also offer supplemental seating if you choose a more intimate table. ... more   less
