We came into town having booked early to attend the boat Show and given the event the room rates were sky high and rooms were completely booked everywhere. The general condition of the hotel was a bit run down, but since we planned on being out during our weekend visit we really only wanted to have a clean place to sleep. The room had an odor so we opened the windows and found one of the screens was missing furniture was all damaged and the carpet was riddled with cigarette burns. The bed was clean and comfortable. We grabbed our takeout dinner from a moderately expensive restaurant and brought it back to the room . Having enough for two meals, we placed the leftovers in the fridge. In the morning when we woke and daylight entered the room we were no able to see better the condition of the room and feel the filth of the carpet. My feet stuck to the floor and became black when I walked barefoot to the bathroom. When we went to the fridge to get our food we noticed that all was warm and in the light could see that the fridge door was covered in mold. We packed everything and headed to the front desk on our way to the show. The manager Victoria was at the desk and turned what could have been a bad stay into a good recovery. We discussed the condition of the room and all else, and she promised to rectify my issues. When we returned from the show we were greeted with a new very clean room and refund for the food we lost. Good recovery Victoria. We would try again.…
A very nice inexpensive hotel that's perfect for business traveler stays.. The stay is wonderful and always out to help out. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice quite stay at a good rate. The rooms have full kitchens with amicrowave and the beds are very comfortable. Definitely my go to hotel when in town.
We walked in and were aghast at how dirty the room was. The white refrigerator was covered in sticky streams of brown liquid (difficult to see in photo), there was what appeared to be blood on the ceiling in multiple places, the chair was so worn the fake leather was cracked, there were stains all over the drapes, poorly patched holes in the wall etc. We wanted a clean, basic room and they were unable to deliver.
Messed up reservation after calling twice to confirm. They promised they wouldn't charge us when we checked out early, yet they charged us anyways. Hotel smells like smoke in halls, elevator. One of the lights was unplugged, one had a bulb that didn't work, the bulb they gave us as a replacement was the wrong type. Refrigerator didn't work. No remote for TV and the replacement that we got at the front desk didn't work. They did not have enough key cards for everyone. Ironing board broken, iron left stains on clothes. Side of the counter was peeling off, floor in bathroom coming up, corner of wall was damaged.
I am a young, single woman and I was very nervous to stay at a hotel for an extended period of time. The staff at this Extended Stay location is the friendliest, most helpful staff I have ever experienced at a hotel. Anything that you might need in regards to kitchen supplies is provided, and all kitchen appliances are clean and function as they should. The rooms are cozy and comfortable for both short and extended stays. The hotel is very close to shops, and only a 10 minute drive to the City Dock.I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a hotel in Annapolis.
