I loved staying at the Good Hotel! Not only does the hotel *do* good - it *is* good! Every room in the hotel has a picture of a child that is supported by the revenue from that room. There is a stunning interior courtyard with beautiful vegetation and decor. My room had a great mountain/volcano view and an amazing outdoor shower. Plus, the hotel is connected to partner restaurant Saul, with an incredible breakfast that was included as part of my stay. I loved relaxing in Saul's beautiful courtyard and easily being able to go back to my room at Good Hotel throughout the day. Plus, Good Hotel had its own filtration system, so you could drink the tap water. No wasteful plastic bottles! I highly recommend staying at the Good Hotel when you visit Antigua, Guatemala.

Very clean room! Workers were very friendly. The room was beautiful. The shower pressure was amazing. The outside area of this hotel was adorable. Had an amazing time. I would definitely come back!!!!

Lovely hotel with great service. Having coffee from their amazing espresso machine in their lush beautiful green courtyard is a highlight. We stayed in a room along the corridor. Sometimes we heard other guests talking late in the night as they walked down the hallway. However we would stay here in a heartbeat again. Aesthetic was soothing and great bath products.

This modern hotel is a close walk to the center but not in the heart of the hustle-bustle. It has a chic feel. Rooms are clean and sleek, a skylight in the bathroom provides light, and vaulted ceilings are super high. The bedroom window faces the courtyard so I needed to close the drapes for privacy. Comfy bedding and towels and nice amenities (shampoo, etc), along with some worry dolls to put under your pillow (and take away with you). The duvet was really warm - a bit too warm at this time of year - and there was no cross ventilation in the room (only the window in the bedroom). Their own water filtration system allows you to drink water from the tap without concern and there is a coffee maker in the room. Also a safe. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The adjacent restaurant, Saul's, is all outdoors and is wonderful. A nice selection of beers, wines and food and outstanding breakfasts (if you opt to have breakfast included with your room - which I recommend - it will be at Saul's). A truly amazing thing about this hotel (and Saul's) is that 100% of their profits go to Ninos de Guatemala, an organization for children's education and to improve physical and emotional well-being of kids of lower income families and kids who live in poverty. One thing to be aware of - which is not a fault of the hotel - is that the hostel right next door can get quite noisy, My first night there they were blasting music with a very loud and repetitive bass and singing at the top of their lungs. It sounded like it was happening right in my room. You might want to avoid room 5 (and maybe 6 and 4 as well), just in case.…

It is a great hotel, very clean and quiet. The patio area is small but very relaxing and beautiful. We love the fact that a restaurant is right next door, they have good cocktails and food. The hotel is about 4-5 blocks away from the central plaza. Less than 12 minutes walk. There are a few rooms offered out door showers too….fantastic!

Wonderful hotel with great services and location. There is a restaurant next door that sells great food and has some local dishes. I liked a lot the services they provided. My only issue was with the shampoo and related products of a local brand called "makenna" the quality of the product was not good at all and the bottles were already used when we received the room.

Love everything about the Good Hotel. I actually think they should call themselves Great Hotel - the beds are so comfortable, clean and feels very high end. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Sal's restaurant, integrated into the hotel is delicious and restorative. We love that this is a social business where your night's stay provides underprivileged local children with an education = GREAT!

We really liked the social mission of the hotel and wanted to support. Location and building are great. As written in other reviews noise levels can be high esp for light sleepers. unfortunately we had a theft of 50€ cash - these things can happen and we note that we didnt lock it into the safe (it was in the pocket of a bag, under clothes) But what annoyed us was the lack of responsiveness - each step, e.g. requesting an inquiry, wanting to speak to manager, getting an answer from manager and eventual resolution (we were offered a voucher on the night of our departure) was only made upon our insistence, no proactive approach from hotel which was a bit disappointing. We would visit again and recommend, but caution for use of the safe!

On the other hand, our team has been with us for a very long time, they are in contact with many more valuables every day and they have earned the company´s trust, of course we had a talk with our housekeeping team and as it happens in this cases they feel really bad that your experience was overshadowed by this event. As I mentioned on our conversation, we have had cases where things are misplaced, we hope this is the case and you find your money. I also understand you being upset, this is why we accepted the blame (specially because our delay was due to an activity out of the city) and gave you the voucher to use the amount on the restaurant as we have no other way to clarify this.
