The hotel itself looks fantastic! Not the usual design, but a wonderful old building turned into a hotel. Because of this everything is pretty basic, but the room was large and clean. Staff was friendly, but breakfast is basic. Plus is the location! Very close to the main square and all the shops and restaurants!

Like other reviewers I stayed here to join a grouo. I wondered why thet chose it. Rooms didnt even have a celing fan and were stuffy inside french windows opened onto corridor had no bars so would be foolish to open as anyone could walk into room . Other french windows on to a busy noisy street . I even...

Just a little over one block from Parque Centrale. Friendly, reliable, staff. We stay here annually when we visit Antigua. A simple American breakfast comes with the room. Old but well maintained property.

Not a place I would choose but I have to admit its great location and nice staff. The rooms are big and very clean, so are the bathrooms. Though the mattresses should have been renovated many years ago, it's not the worst bed I've slept in, and it might be one of the cheapest. Noise is an issue. Our room...

We had to stay here 3 nights, since we were part of a group. But in my opinion that was 3 nights too long. The location of the hotel is fine, it's located in the city center and all sights are within walking distance. However, the hotel itself is situated in an old monastery, and when entering looks quite nice....

I stayed here with a large group for a missions trip. It is a beautiful hotel in a great area. It has a beautiful courtyard in the center with lots of plants, very tranquil. It also has a roof access that you can get some gorgeous views of Antigua, and the volcanoes nearby. It has shopping right outside of the...

Nice staff, very spacious rooms, WiFi functions well, secure place. The only disadvantage is, that there is no daylight in the rooms, and you can hear your neighbours, because the walls are very thin. Otherwise it is a very convenient place, if you visiit the city.

Our mission team stays here the last leg of our trip. After a week doing mission work in the Quiche area we spend one day in Antigua, which is a wonderful treat. I love Antigua, it is one of my favorite places to visit. Sadly I can't say the same about this hotel, I don't mind spending one night here,...

Our mission team stayed here again, and we had very good treatment. Our room was nice & neat, clean, except it smelled very musty. We needed downstairs due to health, and were accommodated easily. Our windows opened up to the beautiful courtyard, and the sound of the fountain was relaxing. It rained every night, and the sound of the thunder...

I traveled with the missions team to stay in this hotel my last night in Guatemala. I checked into my room and saw bugs by the light. I figured if I shut off the light and try to get some sleep that they might go away. I was dead wrong they all started coming on to me and then bugs...
