Just finished staying at Casa Luna for several nights and am happy we did. It is a smallish, simple hotel - definitely nothing fancy but everything you need (wifi, hot showers, access to the kitchen...) and on top of this the place is super clean. Owner Mario is a great host and very helpful with travel bookings and advice as...

I read reviews of this place on Trip Advisor and almost couldn't find it. I'm so glad I finally did and you will be too. So, first of all, the address is Callejon Camposeco (written as Campo Seco in my guide book) and it's between 6 and 7 Avenida Norte. The phone number is 7832-4624 or 7882-4456. This is a...

First I have to thank Mario for helping us out in the middle of the night. We were coming from Copan and we didn't book a room so we walked around for an hour until we found a 'Filthy and disgusting' hotel we booked the room but couldn't stay it was way too disgusting. So we took our backpacks and...

I did not stay at Casa Luna. I only used their travel agency to arrange our travels around Guatemala. Mario of Casa Luna helped us with most of our travel needs, be it from/to the airport, Volcanot trip, Bus tickets, airline tickets, planing, or suggesting destination. Very honest, friendly, and responsible. His prices are very competitive, and being far away...

His phone isn't listed anywhere! except here.... 7832-4624, 7882-4456, or cell phone 5173-9432. Mario will answer! This is a very quiet street and close to everything! Breakfast breads & coffee in the morning. He has 6 rooms here and speaks perfect English. Mario has the best rates from transporation too! $35 to/from Airport. $10 a person to Lake Atitlan, $8...

This place is an absolute delight. I stayed here for a few days with my boyfriend, and have no come back again solo. The rooms are tastefully decorated in bright colors, kept impeccably clean by friendly staff, and the hot showers are lovely. The room I've had both times is very private, with a little terrace with a great view...

My husband and I spent a week at Casa Luna during Holy Week. Our stay was just perfect, considering the hustle and bustle during that time of year. The owner, Mario, also runs a travel agency at the hotel's premises. Mario arranged for us an array of tours, including a tour to tikal, inclusive of transfers and tour guide. All...

Great staff. Clean. Hot water. Safe and convenient location. Thin walls. Not exactly a hotel. Enjoyed my stay and would come back. Great value. Travel agency on site.

After having travelled non-stop from Managua, Nicaragua to Guatemala City we took a shuttle to our destination Antigua. We had no reservation and the hotel we were thinking about no longer existed. Lucky us! The shuttle driver knew of a small hotel, the Casa Luna. The proprietor, Mario Hernandez is a native Guatemalan who lived and worked in the USA...

Just spent a week at Casa Luna. Mario is one of the most helpful hosts my wife and I have run across in all our travels. Rooms are large enough not to be falling over each other, shower has pressure and loads of hot water. Clean and quiet. Just around the corner from La Merced and Calle del Arco. Didn't...

“Single on first floor os best for travleing with heavy items. Upstairs doubles are great for 2-3 people traveling together who want to save a little money. One large family-sized room upstairs, and a rooftop balcony with private bath great for backpackers and long-term residents.”
