Came here for 2 day visit to Antigua. Location is ideal with only a 2 minutes walk into the centre. It has lovely furniture and rooms are nicely decorated with comfortable beds and it is quiet with mainly birdsong in the morning. Great view of Fuego. Nice shower. We had breakfast on the roof which has a lovely view of the city and volcanoes, but the breakfast was not good at all - more like having a ‘fast food’ breakfast with a warm spam bun, small box of mixed juice and yogurt plus banana. Overall a nice stay - suggest you book a room away from the road for a quiet nights sleep and don’t bother with breakfast.

There are two Posada San Pedro accommodations in Antigua, Guatemala: • Posada San Pedro I has 10 rooms and is located at 3ra Av. sur No. 15. • Posada San Pedro II has 8 rooms and is located at 7 avenida norte # 29. On Tripadvisor.com, Posada San Pedro I is called “Hotel Posada San Pedro” & Posada San Pedro II is called “Hotel San Pedro”. The photos that accompany Hotel Posada San Pedro are a mixture of these two hotels. (The pink walled rooms are from San Pedro I while the yellow walled rooms are from San Pedro II.) The Posada San Pedro website has information about both hotels. We arranged airport pick up through San Pedro II and stayed there 3 nights in Dec. 2019. This is not a fancy hotel but a small hotel with special appeal; one that fits in well with Antigua. Walking distance to central park, restaurants, shops and the arch. These clean, simply furnished rooms are on two floors around two lovely courtyards. Seating nooks & a roof top patio (from which you can see volcanoes) add to the charm. Guests can use the dining room, kitchen, and fairly large living room area. There are filtered water dispensers, and staff make a pot of coffee in the morning for guests. It’s good to know that they do not accept credit cards. We recommend a room on the second floor for more privacy and light. We especially liked the room at the top of a small staircase, with a private balcony overlooking the back courtyard and a skylight in the bathroom. Plenty of hot water.

We ended our team project with an evening in Antigua and we thoroughly enjoyed the Hotel Posada San Pedro. Close enough to the park yet far enough to feel the peace and quiet. The rooms are nice and there's hot water. The rooftop terrace gives wonderful views of the town.

This would have been a wonderful place except for the noisy construction that is currently going on - all day and ALL NIGHT (it is nearly midnight as I write this). Sounds like the walls of the hotel are being knocked down by a wrecking crew. So check and see that the construction has been completed before you book.

This small hotel was an excellent find for the money. I had a group of 6 traveling on business and we ended up having the whole place to ourselves during the third week of July. If you have a choice, the top floor rooms, particularly those facing the volcano have the loveliest view. Both floors have a central meeting area that offers a full kitchen, couches and large size table to meet and prepare meals, host a meeting, etc. However with such great restaurants in Antigua, I'd recommend hitting the streets and walking towards the park nestled in the center of town. The hotel did take a reservation online but payment was made upon check out. Both credit card or local currency was accepted. The rooms are simple and clean.

Posada San Pedro doesn’t offer most of the amenities you may be used to, not even a restaurant, but what it has a lot of is peace and quiet, and some of the most amazing views of the Agua (water) and Fuego (Fire) volcanos. It’s only a couple of minutes from the city’s Central Park and surrounded my great places to eat. Staff is very nice. If you travel on a budget, we highly recommend you try Posada San Pedro.

I love this place! The rooms have all the amenities you could ever want--hot shower with great water pressure, fast wifi connection. They are not decorated quaintly, if charm is what you are looking for. But open the door to your room and you will have a spectacular view of 3 volcanoes! There is a common kitchen area (well kept and immaculately clean) and an indoor and outdoor common sitting area. About 2-3 blocks from the central park. Price can't be beat!

Used this hotel as a base while exploring Guatemala with a group. The service was friendly, although you might want to polish your Spanish before arrival. The breakfast was tasty and copious enough for a long hike afterwards. The location was good as well: within walking distance of central plaza yet not overly noisy and busy. The views of Agua are breathtaking. The hotel is arranged in a series of common areas and halls with large light shafts shepherding the sunshine everywhere. The rooms themselves are on the small side, and you won't get a tv or a phone in there, but the stylish black wood panels and the good internet connection make up for these amply. Should I return to Antigua, I would probably book these guys again. Whenever I came back here, I felt home and welcome. A really wonderful hotel and excellent value!

Only 10 rooms and all are in a culturally interesting posada. Best views of Vulcan Agua & Vulcan Fuego that I've seen from any hotel/posada in Antigua. Immaculately clean posada as are the rooms. A kitchen is available for those who want to do their own cooking. The views from the rooftop "terrace" are spectacular. Friendly service, a quiet location but within easy walking distance to the Parque Central, and alot of love and care have gone into this posada. Great value for money!!!!!
