We were happy with our stay here for 3 nights. Unfortunately none of the staff speak any English but I can't hold that against them! I liked that the room had a closet we could put our valuables in and we were able to attach our own lock.

I'm ashamed to say it's taken me a year to write this review but I've held the brochure to do this all that time because this place really deserves it's 5 star review. There are no many dirty looking hostels in Guatemala. The smaller hotels cost more than you'd like to pay in Guatemala so finding Posada Juma Ocag was... More

Great place to stay, staff only ever friendly and welcoming! Clean kitchen to cook in and nice big rooms with a sunny terrace to sit out on. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay. One member of staff in particular was extra smiley!!

What a great place - like a hotel but with a kitchen, and the cleanest kitchen we've seen in Central America so far. Big rooms, warm beds and showers, good wifi and a beautiful courtyard. Good location as well - close to markets and within walking distance of everywhere else (it's not a big place). Felt safe.

My girlfriend and I stayed in a double room for a total of 4 nights and would def recommend this hostel to other couples. The rooms were spacious and clean, the place felt really safe as well - the front door is locked so you ring the bell and someone lets you in, plus there are bars on the outside... More

Stayed a couple of nights. Room gigantic so great value for 200 Quetzales (total inc. tax). Good bathroom and lockable cupboard a great feature too. Clean and free towels etc. Kitchen is useful, esp. as the place is just around the corner from two supermarkets. Top tip. The smaller of these is much more logically organised, slightly cheaper, and better... More

Welcoming, efficient, clean - and affordable. This place is amazing! With all the amenities on site which you would require - and those that are not, can easily be reached in minutes. There is comp. wifi, water, tea. Laundry facilities. Kitchen. The indoor garden is lushious and green and the upstairs patio quiet. Higly recommended!

Tucked inside a cozy hive while the bees of the city traffic hum outside is the peaceful feeling of this quaint hotel with a family run Bed and Breakfast hospitality morning to night...fresh water, coffee, tea, access to refrigerator at all times.
