I've stayed here three times in the last seven years, and they never disappoint. I spent four days and three nights at the hotel March of 2017, the rooms are unique, and the grounds are beautiful. The restaurant is incredible, the breakfast buffet is outstanding. We had several lunches, and dinners, all of the meals were great. My wife spent...

This property is stunning! From the street view you could never tell what is behind the walls. When you enter from the street this place goes on for blocks inside! Its has amazing plants and art throughout the hotel. Going to the rooms it almost feels like you are going back in time. The rooms are fairly old but well kept....

The food is exquisite is walking distance from restaurants the plaza and points of interest. Stayed there for a week and had a wonderful time. You could visit the museum at no charge as long as you stayed there.

I really wrestled with where to stay in Antigua for this trip; there are so many charming and interesting historical hotels peppered throughout the city. Ultimately I decided on Hotel Museo Casa Santo Domingo because it seemed to offer so much more than any other hotel in the city: a good location, expansive grounds, several on-site museums, a beautiful pool,...

Even though being a local in the country, the hotel surprised me with a very poor service. I wanted the best for my girlfriend, but just got disappointed. At the service desk the didn't advise about the pool included in the 5 star hotel and charged us twice from different credit cards. For check in we had to wait 30...

When we were touring Antiqua, our bus dropped us off here and then we returned here for our lunch. The lunch was very good. I did not see any of the rooms, but the whole complex was amazing. Art and history everywhere you look. The only down side I could see is that there are many bus loads of tourists...

From the moment you enter the underground parking lot and walk by the lit niches of wonderful Central American art. {paintings, sculpture, pottery). You know you are in a special place. The hanging orchids as you walk to the main desk brush lightly all around you. This is the REAL deal, an old monastery which houses not only comfortable rooms...

My husband had a business trip to Guatemala and I tagged along. When we pulled up to the hotel I had no idea what awaited us behind the doors. Turns out, an old monastery was transformed into the most beautiful hotel. The room was quaint and cozy and the staff, exceptional. There's not much of a gym (a couple of...

The hotel is simply spectacular. It was built on top of the ruins of an ancient convent, giving the hotel a mystic ambiance which perfectly embodies the spirit of Antigua. We stayed there for two nights in the spa section of the hotel and couldn’t have loved it more. We were pampered for two days, got an amazing massage, enjoyed...

I found this hotel by searching for something near the heart of Antigua and saw it had pretty good reviews. Not only was the hotel nice, but the grounds, museum, walk ways, sitting areas, and atmosphere were incredible. The hotel is hidden behind a wall, like all of Antigua, but opens up to beautiful courtyards full of lush plants and...
