We stayed for three nights as part of our honeymoon to Central America. The overall hotel experience was great. The staff were friendly and the breakfasts on the roof terrace in the mornings were superb. Our room was located at the back of the hotel via enchanting stepping stones. We did find it to be a little noisy and small,however...

Great experience, great location, beautifully decorated, wonderful staff... the name says it all it is truly enchanting. With so many options in Antigua this is definitely a place to come back to. This beautiful house truly resembles what this great city is all about.

Casa Encantada is a gem of a find. This small, charming casa embodies class in a laid back manner. Everyone that works at the hotel is lovely. The beds, with the best pillows I've ever slept on, will lure you into a dreamland like non other. Maria Augustina will serve you with the most delightful of genuine smiles. In a...

A perfect setting, hidden from the street: with only ten rooms, all tastefully decorated - and very few other guests during our 3-nights' stay - it felt as relaxing and peaceful as home away from home. The staff were so friendly and obliging and gave us a complimentary upgrade to a delightful quiet [albeit small] back room [because there was...

Casa Encantada offers a comfortable, inviting stay, like staying in somebody's very nice house complete with cozy living room area. Rooms are small but well appointed and the breakfast included gave good, delicious options. A good deal overall and walking distance to the sites. BUT. If you are traveling on business you should know there is no on-site restaurant after...

We really enjoyed our three-day stay at Casa Encantada. All the workers we interacted with were really sweet and helpful. It is about a five block walk to the center of town but we never felt threatened at all, and we were walking past 10:00 p.m. some nights. It just didn’t seem worth it to take a cab. The décor...

Perfect combination of small, boutique property but now that it's owned by the adjacent Porta Hotel, with the shared room service menus, etc of a larger property. Stayed here in late March 2013 for four nites and found it be a perfect base for day trips. Fabulous rooftop area for early and late sunshine. Rooms were small but tastefully designed...

We loved this hotel. It's close to the central square but far enough to be on que quiet side. The room we had 603 was very nice and comfortable, even though it is near the street and one hears the buses in the early morning. The only issue was the internet not reaching the room and we had to go...

I stayed in one of the ground floor rooms right off the lobby. Definitely not handicapped accessible as you have to hop on some stepping stones over a pond to get to the room. Breakfast on the rooftop is quite nice and the food is basic and good. Staff was friendly. I had laundry done and it was fast and...

The Hotel made the perfect launching off point for our explorations in Antigua (a city we came to love for its charm). The woman and gentlemen at the desk always helped with any of our inquiries and set up a few tours for us. We saw the Coffee tour (great), hiked the Volcano about an hour away (ok....you don't get...
