I stayed at Casa Cristina just under a week and prior to my stay I communicated frequently with both Rosario and Karin who were attentive, friendly and endlessly helpful. I very much enjoyed my room on the third floor as there was less foot traffic and I was next to the staircase leading to the rooftop garden and seating area...

I will echo the other rave reviews about this place. Rosario, the owner, is the perfect hostess and full of useful information and tips. The friendly staff is warm, welcoming, and helpful. I love the fact that a lot of NGO staffers and volunteers stay here, and the 3rd floor reading room offers a comfortable place to meet fellow travelers....

My husband and I stayed at Casa Cristina for 11 days when we were studying at the Don Pedro Language School. Although the rooms are small, they are very clean and comfortable. There was some noise that traveled through the stairwell as people moved about in the hallway, but we did not hear the guests in the next door room....

Off the main roads, this little hotel doesn't suffer from traffic noise. Though you will hear volcanoes church bells and other visitors as noise carries. Help yourself to instant coffee and great views from the terrace. The rooms are small but plenty of hot water is a plus.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are basic and could do with a bit of colour, but great for the price. We noticed a very bad drain smell on the ground floor, but thankfully we were upstairs and there was no smell. Staff were warm and friendly and resolved an error on their behalf quickly and graciously. Shower...

We stayed here on two different occasions both equally nice. Rosario helped us out with great recommendations on where to go on a budget and with only a little time to experience Antigua. If you are not on a budget definitely splurge for a room on the top floor! The view from those rooms are amazing and you have close...

Hotel Casa Cristina is exactly what me and my travel buddy were looking for. In fact, it exceeded our expectations for the price. The rooms are basic, but very cute and clean. The rooftop is amazing! Gorgeous pot plants everywhere with a stunning view of Antigua...not to mention a volcano. The staff are super helpful also in terms of recommendations,...

I've stayed at this lovely gem several times over the last three years when traveling to/through Antigua. I typically spend my first night here before venturing onward, and always seem to end up back here for the last night. It feels like home, it's always super clean, the staff is excellent and quick to respond, and the faces have remained...

I have stayed at Casa Cristina in Antigua dozens of times in the last 10 years and it feels like coming home. I love the rooms and the location and the friendly people. I have always enjoyed the view from the rooftop but the morning I left last month I rose before dawn and enjoyed the sun coming up behind...

I was recommended to look into Casa Cristina for my short 2 day stay, and I'm so glad I went with this hotel. It is absolutely adorable. Great amenities. All you really need -- a comfortable bed, cute bathroom with hot water, a TV even, etc. The staff is really helpful in recommending places to explore nearby. You can't get...
