My friend and I stayed here during Semana Santa. It was located at a perfect distance from the center of town, as it only took about 10 minutes by foot to reach the Arco de la Merced, but there was no noise at night. We felt very safe since you had to ring the doorbell and be let into the...

We stayed for three nights in early April. This is a charming place with a central water fountain and pretty flowers. These rooms are more of a typical Guatemalan housing design with an open inner atrium and tile flooring. The decor was interesting and the staff were lovely. The breakfast was good and there was a Guatemalan breakfast choice as...

This hotel is quite attractive, and is located in a pleasant end of the city, if a bit of a hike to downtown. The building is beautiful, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Our room, however, was on the dark side, and did not get much in the way of air movement, so we were not completely comfortable....

We stayed for 5 nights (April 2016) and had an excellent experience. The hotel is lovely and quiet, with a tranquil courtyard fountain, Spanish colonial style, and a great roof top terrace with spectacular views of the three volcanoes surrounding Antigua. The staff speaks limited English but was very friendly and responsive to every request we made. We (family of...

We stayed here for 9 nights recently and loved it. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was quite pretty with a nice rooftop deck. The manager Rodolfo and the staff are all very kind and helpful. When we had an unreliable guide no-show, they helped us find a more reliable company. Also, I got ill, during which...

Spend a week at the Candelaria Feb 6th-13th 2016. The hotel is very clean the staff does an amazing job keep the rooms & whole place spotless! Very accommodating. The roof top deck completely makes up for having to walk a little extra to the heart of the city. Breakfast menu is very limited & is the same everyday. Food...

I have stayed here twice on two different trips. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and there is a beautiful courtyard and terrace with nice views. Breakfasts are complimentary. WiFi is available and reaches the rooms, but had a low signal strength in one. It is about a block from the trail leading up to the cerro de la...

Antigua was basically our first stop in Guatamala and the hotel staff were very welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable (minus the pillows being a bit thin if I am being picky). The hotel felt very secure and the rooftop deck was awesome to read a book or play a game of cards. Plus, the included breakfast was an...

Loved the character of this unique hotel! Accommodations in the center of town can become quite noisy at night so having to walk a few blocks towards the action in Antigua is a small price to pay for a peaceful nights sleep. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and breakfast in the morning was excellent. The rooms are...

Small hotel of 16 rooms, two floors centered around an open air courtyard. Entire hotel is beautifully decorated as an authentic Antiguan hotel. Simple, very clean comfortable rooms with shower, wardrobe and a secured, small lockbox type safe in room. No elevator to second floor. Very secure with one entrance controlled by buzzer and several cameras. Breakfast was simple with...
